The review of a price situation in the market of vegetables in the Crimea is presented.
REVIEW of the MARKET of VEGETABLES
In the third decade of January in the Crimea (as however, and across all Ukraine) sharp rise in prices for vegetables was noted. On materials of the price monitoring which is carried out by specialists of the Crimean state agrarian educational advice center, the price increased on the average: on cabbage for 56 % (from 2,25 UAH/kg to 3,5 UAH/kg), potatoes – 23 % (from 2,65 UAH/kg to 3,25 UAH/kg), onions napiform – 22 % (from 2,25 UAH/kg to 2,75 UAH/kg), a beet – 44 % (from 2,25 UAH/kg to 3,35 UAH/kg).
All records were beaten by carrots. The price for it jumped up for 60 % (from 2,5 UAH/kg to 4,0 UAH/kg). A problem that deliveries of these goods from regions in the conditions of hard frosts practically weren’t carried out.
Let’s remind that last year in Ukraine deficiency of carrots also was observed. Then the price for it flew up to unprecedented 5-7 UAH. But the matter is that if then it it was not simple available, this year a situation another. The companies considered the received experience and put product enough on storage. However during hard frosts the most part of root crops was damaged. As it to be reflected in the price in the spring – while it is not known.
February met us several, but not especially essential, fall of the price for carrots and cabbage – on the average for 12 %. The price for onions and a beet continues to keep at former level. Potatoes rose in price for 8 % and there are already on the average 3,5 UAH/kg.
