In this note it is a question of diseases of seeds of a soya: askoxitoze, a bacteriosis, white decay and as them to distinguish.
Askokhitoz. In case of defeat seeds become puny, mouldering, with black piknidiya of a mushroom. On the struck fabrics the cotyledon forms the deep, dark brown or gray spots covered with a white down of a mycelium. Sometimes on a place of spots through openings are formed.
On the struck parts a cotyledon dark brown flat and round piknidiya of a mushroom are visible. Under a microscope openings which a chain leave mushroom disputes are visible. Disputes colourless, cylindrical, with the roundish ends, at first monocelled, and then with a partition, length of 5-10 microns and width of 2-3,5 microns.
Bacteriosis. On the sprouted seeds it is shown in the form of the roundish or angular pressed spots of grayish color. On cotyledons brown-brown, gray or dark gray spots of the different sizes and a form, through are formed or deeply pressed, soft, is frequent with very characteristic brown or dark brown narrow border.
The bacteriosis can be shown also in the form of a blackening of borders by a cotyledon. On a podsemyadolny knee the wide light brown pressed strips are sometimes formed. In case of strong defeat seeds rot, osliznyayutsya and have an unpleasant smell.
White decay. The illness is shown in the form of mushroom or mycelium sklerotsiya in a seed. Sklerotsy black, the different sizes and a form, on a break the white. In the damp chamber seeds rot, become covered by a white mycelium in the form of pushisty plates. Later black sklerotsiya of a mushroom are formed.
