Picturesque places of a neighborhood of the village of Novozhilovka which is located on the suburb of the Belogorsky area, perhaps, you will not call. Located on the high plain in the center of the Crimean peninsula, it is most removed from noisy roads and the district. There is a lot of winds, sun and a mizer of a precipitation in a year. But the main trouble – lack of drinking water because of what sceptics these waterless places nicknamed "Sukhozhilovka".
One constant thought tormented Feodor Kolomiyts’s soul, the heads of Novozhilovsky village council how to provide peasants with drinking water. Being a radical novozhilovets, the tenth child in a country family, decades of burden of waterless edge transferring everything, Feodor very much would like and it was dreamed to give to drink it water, to make a green oasis.
- I, as well as others of Novozhilovtsa, infinitely am proud of the past and the present of the small homeland – Feodor Efimovich speaks. – The history of our village leaves deep into centuries. According to the contemporary records, the first mentions of Besharan-Otar (Novozhilovka in those days till 1945 so was called) belong to 1873. Besharan-Otar in transfer means five sheds. In accession of the Crimea to Russia here planted cattle and our village surrounded the wood. In the 30th years in it the collective farm "Spark" which headed L.I.Tulenko was organized. In 1945 the village was renamed into Novozhilovka – in honor of the commander of the Kerch landing, Hero of the Soviet Union L.Novozhilov. Together with Novozhilovk’s next villages it was attached to collective farm "Russia", and in 1965 the state farm "Novozhilovsky" of meat-and-milk trust here was educated. Directed this state farm during the times V.V.Vasilyev, N.Kh.Borodavka, S.N.Markevich, and the last 18 years an economy are headed by N.I.Likhachev.
Grew, Novozhilovka developed, upset. New streets were rendered habitable by immigrants from the Cherkassk, Sumy, Chernigov areas, and also from the central regions of Russia.
In different years the high school, kindergarten, shopping center, Recreation center, an ambulance station, a bath, hostels, MTF with the mechanized doyka and milk cooling, the house of cattle breeders, a zernotok, mekhmastersky, koshary here were constructed, the KRS feeding shop, a broiler complex, krolikoferma, are put 400 hectares of vineyards and a garden. On farms 3,5 thousand heads of KRS, and in 25 kosharax – more than 35 thousand heads of sheep contained.
- But the main problem and trouble of novozhilovets there was an acute shortage of water, – F.Kolomiyets remembers. – Since the childhood to me batteries of cans, barrels, buckets, basins near each yard are memorable – water delivered for tens kilometers. Happened, will deliver immigrants in the evening, and by the morning the house already empty – people abandoned Novozhilovka because of bezvodya.
The destiny disposed so that after the termination of two higher education institutions F.Kolomiyets leaves Novozhilovka, works as the chief engineer of "Krymkurortstroy", then the chief of the large autoenterprise. But all these years he doesn’t forget the Novozhilovka – comes to visit parents, to assist state farm. After death of parents changes a residence and again moves to live in a paternal home in page to Novozhilovka, continuing to work in Simferopol.
In 2002 fellows villager elect Feodor Kolomiyts rural by the head, it leaves prestigious work of the head and with the head is dipped into village problems, starts to revive destroyed sockultbyt the fellows villager. For years of its management it it is made much: the kindergarten is restored and the necessary equipment is bought – now it works, repair of roads in villages is carried out, reconstruction of 2,5 km of power lines and two substations on Vinogradnaya St. is made, 3,5 km of electrolines in the village are restored. Five-grain, the Recreation center is capitally repaired and the necessary equipment is bought there, work of a rural ambulance station is restored. But the problem with water haunted it – it there was for it the most important question.
- Earlier on the means allocated from the state budget, round the village drilled tens wells – F.Kolomiyets remembers – but water for normal activity of the village wasn’t. In 1980 the state allocated more than 1 million rubles for conduit construction from page. Don. But the water submitted for 25 km, appeared too expensive pleasure. Then in the village of New Aleksandrovka the thermal well, however its small debit and giving for 10 km was drilled. not obvodnili village. Twice a week three vodovozkami carried water on streets and gave out on 200 liters on a yard.
Over permission of the main problem F.Kololmiyets fought more than 4 years. Trampled down the corridors of power, pestered "high" offices, light at the end of the tunnel didn’t begin to dawn yet. And, at last, S. Kunitsyn’s government allocated 120 thousand UAH. on drilling of a deep-water well.
It drilled in a place specified F.Kolomiytsem – on the highest hill near Vinogradnaya Street. Drilling passed in two stages. On depth of 400 meters the drill got to a bog and geologists decided to stop drilling, but Kolomiyets insisted to continue work – intuition to it prompted that water here is. For drilling continuation it "beats out" at Council of ministers 80 thousand more UAH. and drilling proceeds. And here it – long-awaited water! From depth of 480 meters struck a self-streaming fountain!
The purpose was reached, but half. For construction of the terminal and restoration pump and planting networks, installations hloratorny and panel board with automatic equipment again were required means. Where them to take? According to the petition rural the heads this program were financed by the chief of US State department of Gerry who twice has visited Novozhilovka. 29 thousand dollars allocated with it were spent for terminal construction. However having self-given vent from a well gave only 500-600 cubes of water per day, and it is necessary it is more. At the desire of Kolomiyts the State department bought the most perfect deep pump of the West German firm "Willo" submitting more than 1000 cubes of water per day for Novozhilovka.
And recently in Novozhilovka there was an event of which was waited by many generations – water came to the village. On this occasion in the village there was a holiday on which gathered not only novozhilovets, but also notable guests. Together with rural the head the treasured ribbon was cut also by the ambassador of the USA William Taylor, the chairman of regional council Stepan Hudoba and the head of the district state administration Konstantin Lugovik.
- I infinitely love the native village and the people living in it, and I will do everything in order that to you was better – Feodor Efimovich on a holiday of a word of the election promises given by it twice – in 2002 and 2006 repeated. – Certainly, 15 % of yards aren’t provided with water constantly because of an overexpenditure her some inhabitants of the village, but also control will be carried out here, counters hydrometers will be established. Waters will suffice all.
