Interview to the director general of POOO "Simferopol" Mikhail Sirotyuk.
From Simferopol to Labour – the central estate of AOOO "Simferopol" – no distance. An economy with an old story. In 1929 received the name state farm "Simferopol". In 1957 to it attach collective farm of a name of Zhdanov with Stroganovk, Denisovka’s his villages, Ivanovka, Lazarevka and Amicable. The few decided to operate such large association of the separated villages being in 3-5 km from the central estate. For all this time only five directors were replaced.
… Nowadays Mikhail Sirotyuk appeared such daredevil. In 1995 when the former state farms unsteady in different directions and the collective farms, amicable ranks just met half-way drop knocked down to an agrarian reform, it reunited the earth of the former state farm "Simferopol", became the director general of AOOO "Simferopolskoye".
- Tell, how you began?
We began with the small capital – these are those savings that were in a family and that it was possible to borrow. On this money also got property shares, leased at peasants the earth. Today we have about 630 shareholders and 2020,7 thousand hectare of a lease-hold land.

As to animal husbandry, we turn off this direction. 5 years planted cows of the Zebu that managed to us in 70 thousand hryvnias of a loss. And the dairy direction now gives only 2 % of profitability. The reasons of it for many farmers are well-known. First, cattle cultivation rather expensive occupation, and the state support doesn’t block all these expenses. Here also it is necessary to sell herd. A part sold in an economy of Kiev region, and 160 heads of young growth realized at us in the Crimea.
Arrived humanely. After all many other farmers because of shortage of forages and money start up breeding young growth under a knife, without thinking of the future of the Crimean animal husbandry.
- Whether there are other reasons?
Shortage of shots. On farms milkmaids, which for 60-70 years now work. We can’t release them on the deserved rest as they are irreplaceable. Though an average salary at milkmaids in our economy of 1600-2000 hryvnias.
- And what situation in plant growing?
Here, it is possible to tell, all solve shots. At us in an economy 10 machine operators constantly work. All of them are excellent workers. This is Alexander Silchenko, Victor Kozulin, Nikolay Zagika, Vladimir Kartashov, Oleg Bogdan, Grigory Taran.
Relying on their experience plant growing we intend to develop intensively. In particular, we will expand cultivated areas under a rape which profitability this year made 40 %, and a lucerne which cost of seeds exceeds 17 thousand hryvnias for ton.
As the main agriculturist "Simferopol" Evgeny Syrotyuk, Mikhail Antonovich’s nephew works. He constantly makes offers on improvement of agronomical indicators of an economy. Under its management this year threshed 2178,2 tons of grain.
We signed the contract with chair of plant growing of Agrotechnological university about scientific support of the crop direction. It is conducted by Anatoly Izotov, the professor of chair of plant growing. Gather joint efforts to carry out the spectral analysis of soils to learn what elements in it much and what doesn’t suffice.
- Mikhail Antonovich, say, what you and fish breeding were engaged?
The direction this young, in cultivation of fish we are engaged only two years. We have six ponds in which we started whitebaits of a carp, a white cupid and a silver carp. I hope that next year on market counters of Simferopol there will be our production.

If it was required to make a choice, would began to change nothing. After all the person as pull, from roots it is difficult to tear off. And I was born in the village on Ternopolshchin where there lived my grandfathers and grandmothers. And since the childhood understood that peasants – people worldly wise. How many questions it is necessary to solve them every day: what will be weather; to sow or not to sow, if to sow, as; what fertilizers to bring; when to harvest…
- Heard, what work on the earth at you – business family?
The younger daughter, Lyudmila works as my deputy on commercial matters. The husband of the oldest daughter owns small agricultural firm. And still my wife Nina – love and a support. Here 37 years together.
Nina Nikolaevna gave 24 years to cultural development on the village. Worked as the director of Recreation center in the village Labour. Organized concerts, wrote scenarios, held fairs and exhibitions. Wanted, that after heavy labor everyday life peasants could have a rest soul. And now, having retired, for New year, at date of the worker of agricultural industry arranges such demonstration performances that you will begin to rock!
And Mikhail Antonovich by all means comes to these performances and not empty-handed, and with valuable presents for leaders workers of the village. It always follows a rule that hard rural work should be rewarded adequately.
