Manager! As there is a lot of in this word for agrobusiness. What it should be, what he should know and be able to be the competitive business personality in the professional, moral, cultural and ethical relations from the point of view of practical managers? Such purpose was put by chair of management and marketing of the Southern branch Crimean agrotechnological university by NAU, inviting within academic year to a scientific and student’s symposium of interesting business people.
So, for example, at the end of educational 2005-2006 masters and students of economics department gathered for the next meeting for search of the answer on raised the question.
Opened a symposium the professor, academician V.A.Bespalo. He told that agrarian and industrial complexes are necessary the experts, able to do today competitive business in the professional, moral and moral, cultural and ethical relations. Theoretical values it is good, but they should be turned into practical abilities. Practical activities help us to turn theoretical knowledge into abilities therefore meetings with successful businessmen, people which in practice apply the theory in the state and commercial structures, are very useful.
We are glad that such people willingly accept invitations to our symposium and are ready to impart experience and give a practical advice. This time we on a visit had M. S. Mikityuk – the graduate of economics department of the Kiev agricultural academy, nowadays the successful businessman in agrobusiness system. The meeting took place in a friendly situation behind a cup of tea. Dialogue lasted more than 1,5 hours, but nobody noticed, how time flew by.
Students of 4-5 courses who just about will finish training, many questions of practical activities interested: how to organize a farm, how to carry out organizational and administrative, economic, administrative work etc.
What qualities the graduate should possess to conduct competitive, authoritative and successful agrobusiness.
The businessman M. S. Mikityuk allocated the following:
· Knowledge of business, ability to make competitive decisions;
· Initiative, discipline, responsibility, organization;
· Ability to analyze dialectics of agrobusiness and market conditions;
· Conscience, honesty, decency, honor;
· Ability to speak, talk, listen, hear, to be silent;
· Moral, culture and ethics of activity.
To achieve success, it is necessary:
1. To lay down the aim, economically to prove and reach it.
2. To work, at least partially to touch various spheres of action, to prove, find the niche in production, economy.
3. To find competitive production.
4. To make the qualitative business plan.
5. To analyze, do calculations before decision-making.
6. To own a science and art to accept qualitative, competitive and effective administrative decisions.
Time passed quickly. All received answers to interesting questions. Conversation with M. S. Mikityuk became for the students an indicator of business, moral and ethic and communicative abilities of the manager necessary for creation of authoritative and successful agrobusiness.
Present undergraduates and students, leaving audience, expressed satisfaction from this meeting and with interest discussed already practical models of management activity.
