In article works in AR Crimea animal husbandry for the I quarter 2007 are summed up. Indicators of work of separate areas and farms which achieved higher indicators in comparison with the srednerespublikansky are given. The positive tendency to increase in all categories of farms of all species of agricultural animals and productions of main types of production is noted.

In the current year in branch of animal husbandry the positive tendency to increase was outlined in all categories of farms of a livestock of all species of agricultural animals and productions of main types of production.
The index of agricultural production in the comparable prices of 2005 made on all categories of farms of 115,1 %, including on agricultural enterprises – 108,1 % and at the population – 123,8 %.
In all categories of farms of the republic by the similar period of last year the number of cattle increased by 4,7 %, including cows for 1,6 %, pigs – for 26,3 %, sheep – for 15,9 %, birds – 1,7 %. Production of milk increased by 9,8 %, meat for 13,7 % and only production of eggs decreased for 10 % because of dumping of a livestock of leading poultry-farming farms of the republic: ChSP "East" of the Lenin area and AOOO Southern – Holding the Simferopol area and three enterprises of Feodosiya.
All 14 areas of the republic increased a number of cattle: cows – 13 areas, except Dzhankoysky; a livestock of pigs - all areas, except Black Sea; sheep – in 14 areas; birds – in 12 areas, except Lenin and Simferopol.
In agricultural enterprises efficiency of all animal species raised. As a whole on the republic nady milk on a cow in 3 months made 651 kg that is more than level of last year on 47 kg. More republican indicator agricultural producers Black Sea (received from one cow 821 kg), Saksky (771 kg) Krasnogvardeysky (745 kg), Simferopol (734 kg), the Kirov 681 kg), Bakhchsarai (667 kg) areas. Among agricultural enterprises of the republic of the highest indicator on nadoyu some milk reached: JSC Partizan (1288 kg), UOH "Communard" (1189 kg), JSC Shirokoye (1061 kg) Simferopol area, SOOO Friendship of the people (1150 kg) Krasnogvardeysky area, UO PPZ of Frunze NAU (1250 kg) the Saksky area.
The greatest volume of production of meat at agricultural producers of Krasnogvardeysky, Dzhankoysky and Simferopol areas; milk – Krasnogvardeysky, Dzhankoysky, Simferopol, Saksky and Lenin areas.
On 14 operational performance of a rating of areas in animal husbandry branch the first place for I kvartalzanyal the Krasnogvardeysky area, the second – Simferopol, the third – the Dzhankoysky area. The last three places occupied the Black Sea, Soviet, Lenin areas. On growth rates of gross output the first place occupied Bakhchsarai, the second – Razdolnensky, the third – the Kirov area.
Further in the republic it is headed for development of priority branches of animal husbandry, such as poultry farming, sheep breeding and a svinovodstvo, on stabilization of number of a livestock of cows, introduction of new technologies of their contents and feeding, a hardware of farms by the equipment of new generation.
The resolution of Cabinet council of Ukraine from March 1, 2007 of No. 348 approved use Order in 2007 of means which are directed on financial support of production of animal husbandry:
- for grown up and sold on a face and processing young growth of cattle, pigs, hens broilers, a weft, geese, turkey-cocks;
– for a gain of a livestock of cows of the dairy direction of the efficiency, the bought breeding netel or breeding cows of the dairy direction of efficiency
– for a livestock of cows of the meat direction of efficiency;
– for a livestock a tyolok, bought in personal country farms for replenishment of the main herd;
– for available breeding pchelosemi;
– for a gain of a livestock of ewes also it is bright year is more senior.
It is necessary to use as much as possible subsidized means for further development of branch. It is necessary to give special attention to development of dairy animal husbandry, increase and safety of a livestock of cows.
