How to choose the motor-block

The publication helps to choose from a set of motor-blocks, what becomes for you reliable and not the replaceable assistant.

In the spring on country and personal plots of works too much. Shovel, of course, tool reliable, eyelids the checked. However drives in the seventh sweat. Whether and therefore the summer resident, the owner of a personal plot dream of such tool which considerably would facilitate their work.

But how to choose from a set of brands of the motor-blocks which are let out in our country and abroad, what will suit you in all respects?

For the smallest

If you have a site in the size of 4-6 hundred parts, it is better to choose equipment "extralight" – motor-blocks in weight from 9 to 12 kg, such as German Solo-501H, Japanese HondaFG100 and the American Mantis. Function almost equally: loosen the soil to small lumps, destroy weeds.

For sites it is slightly more

And if you have 15 hundred parts of the earth, motor-blocks of a small batch will approach. Mass of their 20-30 kg, and engine capacity of 2,5-3,5 h.p. It is German of Solo-502, Gart-350, Japanese F-210, the Italian Euro-2. They it is easy, quickly and will effectively shovel the soil on a bayonet, the furrow for potatoes landing will cut, will hill beds.

Easy motor-blocks are unpretentious in work, are simple on a design, but there are in it distinctions. At one driving belt will pull by means of a tension roller and the engine is established on the basis motionlessly. At others the engine is displaced rather conducted pulley. The second it is constructive more poorly, but is cheaper on 300-400 UAH.

To define a way of a tension of a belt, it is enough to press a clutch lever and to look at the engine. If it "creeps" on a support, means a tension roller isn’t present.

Differ and on a reducer design. At one it thin and flat not folding, at others – wide and spherical, folding. Motor-blocks with not folding reducers are more expensive, but it is more reliable. In their reducers knots stronger and durable. Periodically changing dustproof elements, it is possible to increase in three-four times a reducer and motor-block length of life as a whole.

Turns-spins

Optimum quantity of turns at a kitchen garden digging-up not a shovel bayonet – 100-130 in a minute. At 150-180 revolutions per minute it is good to process the top layer of earth after plowing on depth of 5-10 cm and to level a kitchen garden surface, and at 180-200 rpm you can perfectly pave the way (a layer in thickness of 2-5 cm) for crops of any cultures. At 200-220 rpm it is possible to destroy effectively a soil crust and weeds for emergence of shoots, and after to destroy weeds and small, on depth of 2-3 cm, to loosen the soil in row-spacings.

And here to loosen it in them with a mill with a turn 100-130 in a minute it is not necessary: it will leave on depth and will destroy lateral root system of cultural plants.

What trifle – the handle

If you undertook to loosen the soil in raspberry row-spacings, and the motor-block at you without the handle that only will reach edge and will start to be developed, right there prickles of raspberry will start to stick to you into skin. Well and if with the handle, it relieves you of this trouble. Will take for the handle and will quietly develop on 1800.

Affairs warm

Well proved the Hondo, Tecumzeh and Briggs&Stratton engine. Hondo is allocated among them with that works more silently, vibrates less. But there are these motors more expensively.

As easy motor-blocks because of the design can’t provide all range of desirable speed of rotation of a mill, it is necessary to choose such that it could carry out operations which are necessary for you.

Favourite of public

The most popular motor-blocks of middle class, in mass of 40-60 kg. It is Solo-503, Solo-508, Viking-VH500, Gart-550, Husqvarna-T, Jonsered-JFT5, Euro-5 with engines in capacity 3,5 – 5,5 h.p. and a mill with capture 50-80 see. Diameter of a mill at them is more, than at lungs (30 cm), they loosen more deeply. The width of capture of a mill is more in one and a half-two time, therefore and productivity is much higher.

Motor-blocks of middle class process the soil more surely and thoroughly, lungs in management.

Plows, but it is not deep

To hang on them it is possible an okuchnik, a cultivator, a harrow and other pochvoobrabatyvashchy tools. It is possible them and with a plow will equip. However, can plow not everyone, and not any soil. In general, the motor-block in weight more is suitable for a plowed land not less than 70 kg, besides finished loading by counterbalances to 120-150 kg.

For work with a plow instead of a mill establish metal wheels with gruntozacepami.

Almost professionals

At motor-blocks in mass of 60-70 kg with the strengthened reducer, a driving belt of the increased durability and the engine in capacity of 5-5,5 h.p., but with big motor potential (Solo-504, Viking-VH600, Euro 6, Euro Z8), two transfers forward (at Euro – four), one of which – power – provides the lowered turns of a working shaft for work with a plow, an okuchnik, a kartofelekopalka. To work with such motor-blocks quite comfortably therefore and to process them it is possible time to ten continents.

It come from Russia

Well and if the foreign equipment is too expensive for you that there is the cheapest in Ukraine the motor-block of the Russian production – "Hope". It is very reliable equipment with an electric motor. The problem only that will be constantly at work "on a leash" and therefore to use "Hope" it is possible only on a small site where the cord will suffice.

The cheapest petrol motor-block of the Russian production – "Mole". Its small two-stroke engine in capacity of 2,6 h.p. surprisingly easily copes with a mill. "Mole" can work with a plow and even to pull the trailer.

From heavy motor-blocks Neva 2K (100 kg) and more modern "Salute" (80 kg) is known . These motor-blocks are capable to work with a plow, a cultivator, to pull the cart with cargo to 500 kg.

Reliable inhabitant of Kiev

Artany’s motor-block MA400, being made in Kiev, is equipped with the four-cycle carburetor one-cylinder engine of air cooling of the American production, works at AI-95 gasoline.

Motor-block transmission the elementary: the operated one-disk conic fractional coupling and worm pair. The design very reliable nothing to fail. The frictional coupling Ch dry, oil doesn’t get to it. The worm pair is greased with semi-fluid oil Transol 100, TAD-17, etc., and by the ends of a power shaft – konsistentny oil Litol – 24.

Continuous processing of a kitchen garden – loosening by mills without revolution a payment – can be carried out six or four mills. – quicker, and four – it is easier to work with six. The motor-block is counterbalanced concerning an axis of working mills, and in the course of work the operator doesn’t test load of hands, and therefore can freely, without tension, follow the motor-block. Possibility to turn a wheel rather vertical they allows the operator to go not behind the motor-block on the plowed soil, and sideways.

Depending on that, how many mills are established – two, or six – the width of capture at cultivation of the soil makes four 35, 57 or 86 see. Depth of processing of the soil – 10-20 see. Productivity – 1-5 hundred parts at an o’clock depending on a nature of the soil.

After continuous processing it is possible having attached an okuchivatel, to plant potatoes: to make furrows and to fill up them after laying of tubers.

In the summer, establishing on the mill motor-block two or four, it is possible to execute reusable processing of row-spacings and an earthing up of potatoes, vegetables, berry bushes, wild strawberry, etc.

By means of a kartofelekopatel, special wheels and the universal hitch, allowing to change an angle of attack of a kartofelekopatel, dig out potatoes. If instead of mills on a power shaft to establish wheels with rubber massive tires in diameter of 46 cm, the motor-block can pull for itself the trailer in weight (with the passenger and cargo) to 500 kg with speed of 9,5 km/h.
