According to Head department of statistics in AR Crimea, in structure of total amount of wholesale commodity turnover tobacco products on the second place (7,3 %).
In only 9 months of the current year in the Crimea 4,7 billion pieces of tobacco products were sold that for 1,5 % it is less, than for the corresponding period of last year. Thus wholesale commodity turnover of this commodity group grew almost by 27 % and made 401,5 million UAH. Practically all products were national production (99,96 %).
The wholesale market of tobacco products is completely concentrated in Simferopol. It is necessary to note that average wholesale price in the current year made 8,4 kopeks apiece tobacco products that almost for 2 kopeks the prices of 9 months 2006 are higher.
