This year the publishing house Agrarn a thought published rather impressive according to the contents and on volume the book A pear in Ukraine in which the group of the Crimean selectors generalized results of the long-term research work on improvement of a sortiment of a pear, studying and selection of the most productive stocks and sortopodvoyny combinations, developed technologies of cultivation of a landing material and fruit plantings of this valuable garden culture. In the book recommendations about cleaning, commodity processing, storage and pear processing taking into account features of their cultivation are made also.
Authors, after small digression to history, gave the botanical and morphological characteristic of a pear as fruit breed. This characteristic, it appears, will be very useful to gardeners who decided to be engaged in production of fruits seriously.
