Article acquaints readers with a new bacterial preparation – zoobakcidon.
The laboratory and field researches confirming efficiency of a preparation were carried out.
Scientists confirmed efficiency and safety of bacteriological fight against myshevidny rodents in the conditions of cattle-breeding farms, grocery warehouses and premises. Safety of use of bacterial baits for all species of agricultural animals, birds, by girlfriend, bees, cats, dogs is established.
Among bacterial cultures use Isachenko and Merezhkovsky’s bacteria more often. Edotoksin being in a strain of Culture of SalmonellaenteritidisvarIssatchenko, after reproduction in retikuloendotelialny system causes necrotic ulcers of a mucous membrane of intestines, a spleen, a liver and kidneys of rats and mice, causing a system infection.
Different types of rodents are unequally susceptible to bacteria. Mice are most susceptible, the red wood vole, hamsters, are less susceptible – rats, groundhogs, jerboas.
On the basis of Isachenko’s bacterial culture specialists researchers of JSC NPO Ukrzoovetpromsnab developed the deratizatsionny preparation "ZOOBAKTSID" (GNII of biotechnology and strains of microorganisms in December, 2006 is registered) which unites bacterial culture and poison of antikoagulyatsionny action – bromadilon. "Zoobaktsid’s" detailed laboratory and field researches, the next time confirming efficiency and safety of a preparation were carried out.
When using a grain bait the first signs of action of a preparation on animals (disease) it is shown for 3-5 days, the death begins for 7-8 days and proceeds till 15-20 days, 80-100 % of rodents thus perish. Feature of action of a preparation is that he affects not only those rodents who ate it, but also what contacted to the infected rodents.
In laboratory conditions 30-40 % of the mice who were not consuming a bait, but contacting to the infected perish. One of advantages of a preparation is the long pause in reproduction of rodents, i.e. in application places new generations of rodents appear in 3-4 months (mouse), and 4-5 months (rat). At the correct application of a bait protective reflex reactions at rodents don’t arise.
