On May 31 the management of veterinary medicine in Odessa region reported that in state of emergency of B. Khmelnytsky Berezovsky of the area on a farm where 76 pigs contain, 2 sows were lost.
In the message it is said that at carrying out laboratory researches by the Odessa regional state laboratory of veterinary medicine the diagnosis "anthrax" is established.
In an economy quarantine is entered; veterinary and sanitary events for the purpose of disease elimination are held.
According to management of veterinary medicine in Hmelnitsky area, on May 31, 2006 in a family household of the village Kremennaya of the Gorodotsky area the calf fell ill.
On June 1 the 2006th specialists of laboratory of veterinary and sanitary examination in the central market of of Khmelnytsky at research of ink suspected anthrax. At carrying out laboratory researches by Hmelnitsky regional state laboratory of veterinary medicine the diagnosis "anthrax" is established. Meat is withdrawn and destroyed.
