The Ukrainian grain assotsiayotsiya (OUSE) recommends to the government to establish till the end of 2007 of a quota of grain export from Ukraine at a rate of 4 million tons. The president of OUSE Vladimir Klimenko reported about it in interview to the Investgazeta edition.
He also noted that quoting of export of grain is "unpleasant", but a compulsory measure.
- Certainly, it is an unpleasant, vynuzhdenyony measure but while we won’t reach priyoemlemy productivity, quotas will be neobxodimy. It will suit all participants of the market – V. Klimenko told.
Let’s remind that since July 1 of this year in Ukraine the mode of quoting of export of wheat, a rye, barley and corn, thus volume of quotas operates makes 3 thousand tons for each culture.
On August 14 Ukyoraina Victor Slauta’s vice-prime minister declared that in 2007/08 Ukraine can eksportirovat about 6 million tons of grain.
Thus on questions of journalists concerning possible cancellation of restrictions of export grain V. Slauta didn’t give the konyokretny answer.
