According to Laws of Ukraine About breeding matter in animal husbandry and About veterinary medicine the Ministry of an agrarian policy of Ukraine issued the order from April 28, 2007 of No. 296 About modification and additions to the order of the Ministry of an agrarian policy of Ukraine from December 31, 2004 of No. 497.
By point 5 of this order it is provided that subjects of managing who were given the corresponding status of the subject of breeding business in animal husbandry on a svinovodstvo, are obliged to carry out identification and registration of a livestock of breeding pigs of the main herd belonging to them till January 1, 2008.
Since January 1, 2008 sale of the breeding pigs who have been given birth after April 1, 2007, in domestic market and their export are made provided that the animal is identified and registered in accordance with the established procedure, in the presence of the sheet of moving of animals and the registration certificate of pigs (for sows and male pigs of the main herd).
Since January 1, 2008 moving of pigs from an economy in an economy, realization and a face of animals on meat is made provided that the animal is identified in accordance with the established procedure, in the presence of the sheet of moving of animals.
However not all owners of animals realized that the ban on moving of not identified animals doesn’t give possibility to sell or hammer on meat, for further realization.
As of June 1, 2007 in the republic about 170 thousand heads of pigs aren’t identified.
Request to all owners of animals: don’t create to itself problems with moving of not identified animals, realization from them meat production. Timely identification of animals will relieve you of unnecessary efforts and misunderstanding, will allow to exercise fully the rights as the owner of animals, process of realization of animals and production received from them will simplify, up to export to the foreign states.
