The plant is placed in operation in 1973. The enterprise by efforts of collective for satisfaction of requirement of collective farms and state farms of the Crimea under repair tractors, polivochnoji other agricultural machinery was created. For short term factory workers successfully mastered release of vinogradouborochny combines, straw grinders to combine harvesters, the equipment for processing efironosov, repair of every possible engines. According to requirement of agricultural producers the nomenclature of works and services changed.
For years of the existence the plant overcame more than once the various serious tests which have dropped out on its share. Creation in 1996 of Open joint stock company Simferopol mechanical-repair plant gave the chance to keep the enterprise in the ranks of mechanicians. In difficult economic conditions development of new types of production was conducted, the technical and personnel potential was increased, the primary activity of the enterprise including the following a napravleniya:sborka of the Yarilo TYa-200 tractor was defined; manufacturing of agricultural machinery (harrow disk hook-on BDVPA-4,2 "Lada", plow hoeing plow PLN-5,25, plow cultivator universal PRVN-2.1, ploskorez-rykhlitel PRN-4,1, etc.); manufacturing, restoration of spare parts and accessories to agricultural machinery.
Having modern production base and the qualified experts, the plant manages to function successfully in the market of agricultural mechanicians and to carry out of the accepted contractual obligations. Achieving reliable work of produced equipment, the staff of plant with optimism looks ahead.
