This holiday special. In such day we with gratitude and warmth remember school and the teachers, we hurry to congratulate those who gave us so much love and patience, and those who teaches our children today.
East wisdom says: Sosudvsegda keeps a smell of that in it poured for the first time. All of us once came the first time to the first class, and our further destiny in many respects depends on the one who met there us. Influence of the teacher hugely though it is frequent and isn’t realized up to the end. Since ancient times the teacher stores and passes on experience, fills up the knowledge which has been saved up by mankind, sows seeds reasonable, kind, light.
Already in the thirteenth time in the world the Teachers’ Day is officially celebrated. It is necessary a holiday on the first Sunday of October. This professional international holiday of educators was founded by UNESCO in 1994. In the different countries the holiday of educators is celebrated differently and at different times years. In the Czech Republic, for example – on March 28, and in China – on September 10.
The history of a holiday originates not in such hoary antiquity. Everything began in 1944 when the teacher from Arkansas wrote to known politicians and officials the letter that the country should express respect to the teachers. It got to Eleonora Roosevelt who convinced colleagues of the White house to consider opinion of the author of the letter, and in 1953 the congress proclaimed: to the state Teachers’ Day – to be.
In our country at this holiday more "capacious" name – Day of educators. After all except the teachers giving all the knowledge, the love and patience, is what work is at first sight imperceptible, but is extremely important. These are the methodologists managing a teaching department, teachers-organizers, librarians and others. All of them the daily, laborious and hard work on a grain make a contribution to development of intellectual potential of society.
On the threshold of a professional holiday all educators would like to wish vital force, energy and patience, a good health and creative inspiration.
