Completion of preparation of meliorative systems
In the Crimea preparation of meliorative systems for an irrigation season of 2008 is completely complete. According to operative data of regional managements of agroindustrial development, as of April 17 of the current year it was prepared by 200,1 thousand hectares, or 100 % of irrigated lands, and also 964 units, or 101,5 % of dozhdevalny equipment.
It is concluded contracts with the water economic organizations of the republic on water supply for watering of crops on the area of 121,2 thousand hectares, or 61 % to a task.
The council of ministers of the Autonomous Republic Crimea and the Ministry of an agrarian policy of ARK carried out big organizing work which promoted water start-up to the North Crimean canal on March 28 that for 15 days earlier, than last years. By April 22 of the current year agricultural producers of the republic already watered 622 hectares whereas in 2007 for this date only 5 hectares were watered.
The ministry of an agrarian policy together with Republican committee of the Autonomous Republic Crimea on water economic construction and irrigated agriculture carried out purposeful organizing work on filling of the main channels of Razdolnensky, Saksky, Krasnogvardeysky, Kirov and Soviet areas, and agricultural producers of these areas could start waterings of crops at the end of April the beginning of May.
