Well-known: how this or that product will be packed, its further advance in the market considerably depends.
To problem of a suitable packing of products pay a close attention both her manufacturers, and producers of food production who are interested in increase of image of made products. However meanwhile not all think of, whether beautiful and convenient packing answers obligatory criteria of safety.
DRINKS WITH "ADDITIVES"
German society of the help reported to environment (DUH) that in the fruit juice which has been packed up in packings Tetra-pak and Elo-pak, chemical hazardous to health izopropiltioksanton is revealed. At research of the drinks which have been carried out by experts of this society, existence more than 400 micrograms of this substance in product kg is established. Eight of thirteen studied types of production in a different measure were struck with this chemical.
Izopropiltioksanton use for instant drying (disperse hardening) printing paints when manufacturing cardboard packings for drinks. Reliable information about possible health hazard through hit of the mentioned substance in a human body, unfortunately, doesn’t exist so far.
From the studied 73rd samples of juice from vegetables and fruit, and also 7 types of dairy products, multivitamin juice with the high content of vitamin C in packing Tetra-pak capacity of 0,2 l for baby food of Eskes-Gran_n_ firm became "leader". The product contains 405 micrograms of toxic substance on product kg.
WITH TASTE … TOXINS
At further researches which were carried out by society, 80 micrograms of harmful substance on product kg in from – mineral improving juice and juice from the oranges made by Wilms import firm and the company of consumer cooperation in Tounustayni were revealed. Drink is also packaged in packings Tetra-pak. Existence izopropiltioksantona is revealed also in the pineapple juice which has been packed up in packing Elo-pak (72 micrograms on product kg) Djn Simon firms.
German society of the help to environment has information that not only juice can contain this toxic substance, and and such food products, as svezhezamorozhenny products, yogurts, etc. Early studies of a buttermilk also established the contents in kg of a product of 26 micrograms of toxic substance.
According to the statement of German society of the help to environment, federal institute according to risks (BFR) high concentration izopropiltioksantona in the juice which has been packed up in cardboard packings also prove to be true. Recently such toxic substances in different products considerably increased. Responsibility for products which represent health hazard, according to BFR, is assigned to their producers. They, first of all, should take the appropriate measures for prevention of hit of toxic substances in foodstuff and study information on their adverse effect on health.
WELL-TRIED REMEDIES OF PROTECTION ARE NECESSARY
Contrary to reality while anybody active and specifically isn’t engaged in this question. There is even "not identification" possibility izopropiltioksantona in quantities which don’t exceed 50 micrograms on product kg, by means of tests which exist nowadays. BFR allows: the actual problem of existence izopropiltioksantona contains many obscure circumstances in products. Now it is known that more than 1000 various substances intended for printing on packings for foodstuff, it is possible to carry to the category of what don’t render assistance to strengthening of health of the person.
It is still insufficiently studied, as well as in what concentration these substances get to food products. Therefore it is extremely necessary to systematize this work, actively to continue it both on national, and on European levels.
Reaction of supermarkets concerning products which contain toxic substances for confirmation of efficiency of trade only under condition of existence of high-quality ibezopasny production is necessary. All supermarkets which this problem isn’t indifferent, should clean the products containing toxic substances from sale.
