In farms of all categories as of August 1 2006g. the number of cattle in comparison with the corresponding date of last year increased by 16,9 thousand heads (for 8,4 %), pigs – on 41,0 thousand heads (for 35,4 %), sheep and goats – on 42,8 thousand heads (for 18,4 %), the livestock of cows decreased by 7,0 thousand heads (for 7,1 %), birds – on 2,1 thousand heads (for 0,1 %)
In agricultural enterprises of all forms of ownership and managing (including small) number of cows decreased by 5,6 %, sheep and goats – for 3,2 %, but in the whole number of cattle increased by 18,8 %, pigs – for 37,5 %, birds – for 1,4 %.
In farms of the population the gain of a number of cattle for 4,3 %, pigs – for 32,8 % is observed, sheep and goats – for 24,7 %, the livestock of cows however decreased by 7,3 %, birds – for 1,5 %.
In farms of all categories for January-July, 2006 in comparison with January-July of previous year cattle and bird realization on slaughter (in live weight) increased by 1,7 thousand t (for 1,8 %), production of eggs – on 57,5 million pieces (for 18,2 %), production of milk decreased by 13,6 thousand t (for 6,5 %),
Production of meat in agricultural enterprises increased by 6,3 %, eggs – for 37,0 %, production of milk decreased for 0,7 %.
In farms of the population the volume of realization of cattle and a bird decreased by slaughter on 1,6 thousand t (for 4,0 %), production of milk – on 13,4 thousand t (for 7,4 %), eggs – on 2,8 million pieces (for 1,8 %). The share of farms of the population in total amount of production of animal husbandry decreased a little and made: meat – 41 %, milk – 86 %, eggs – 40 % (last year according to 43 %, 87 % and 49 %).
