Since September 1, 1965, according to the resolution of Council of ministers of USSR, on the basis of Belogorsky meteorological station the Crimean selestokovy station was created. Now this specialized division of the Crimean center of hydrometeorology in which 30 people work.
At station the base for carrying out hydrological, agrometeorological and specialized supervision is created. Besides, on the rivers YuBK and in a steppe part of the Crimea 15 hydrological posts are established.
Employees of station trace and fix major factors of a water mode of the rivers, carry out meteorological observations.
Belogorsky selestokovy station – the unique division in the Crimea (one or the other in Ukraine) which duties include supervision over factors of a seleobrazovaniye and passing of mud streams, high waters, and also carrying out route snegosemok in mountains for the purpose of definition of water-supplies in snow and distributions of snow cover in basins of the rivers of the Crimea.
The range of questions, solved by staff of station, very wide also demands from workers of an appropriate level of special preparation, adherence to principles and responsibility. At station there was a solid and responsible collective. A big merit in it the former chiefs V.N.Boyko and A.F.Dubrovsky, and also working at station now hydrologists A.N.Leontyeva, V. G. Smirnova, G. P. Buluakova, L.F.Hayredinova, Azimova’s Accusative.
