In this article it is a question of sanitary preparation of rooms before placement of new party of animals. Sanitary preparation provides them damp or aerosol processing by chemical dezinfektor. Means of mechanization of veterinary and sanitary and preventive works are for this purpose used.
Specialists of the Zaporozhye design institute of technology of agricultural mechanical engineering developed and made the aerosol installations UKA-10 and UKA-40 for disinfection and disinsection of rooms of cattle-breeding farms and integrated poultry farms and vehicles, thermal disinfecting of firm surfaces by an open flame, and also for mass processing of animals and a bird with the sanitary and preventive purpose.

The most labor-consuming operation in care of animals and a bird is disinfection of rooms and the equipment. During a production cycle of cultivation and the maintenance of animals, despite periodic cleaning, a surface of rooms and the equipment becomes soiled manure, the remains of forages, microorganisms, a dust, etc. Therefore sanitary preparation of rooms before placement of new party of animals surely provides damp or aerosol processing by chemical dezinfekator. Carrying out disinfection works is connected with disinfecting of remote surfaces.
Means of mechanization of veterinary and sanitary and preventive works include use of figurative, mobile and stationary adaptations and units.
Specialists of the Zaporozhye design institute of technology of agricultural mechanical engineering developed and made family of block and modular compressor and aerosol installations with the electric drive UKA-10 and UKA-40, intended for disinfection and disinsection of rooms of cattle-breeding farms and integrated poultry farms, warehouses and vehicles, thermal disinfecting of firm surfaces by an open flame, and also for mass aerosol processing of animals and a bird with the sanitary and preventive purpose.
The installations UKA-10 and UKA-40 mobile, are mounted on the basis of manual carts as a frame for which receivers serve. These installations consist of such main parts: receivers, capacity for working solution, compressor station, nozzles, electric equipment, sets of sleeves.
For with higher quality volume processing on capacity of working solution of the UKA-40 installation the fan with two nozzles is established. On receivers of both installations gates for accession of sleeves, manometers, the safety valves adjusted on pressure of 0.7 MPas are established.
Principles of action of installations consists in giving under the pressure of working liquid and the compressed air in an aerosol nozzle where they mix up previously and on an exit of a spray form a melkodispersny aerosol. The amount of sprayed liquid for a unit of time and dispersion of an aerosol is regulated by the crane of liquid of an aerosol nozzle.
At thermal disinfecting on a nozzle establish a nozzle (bell) for stabilization of an open flame (torch). The structure and concentration of working solution, a type of processing, dispersion of an aerosol, a consumption of solution, time of an exposition and a set of means of personal protection establishes the veterinary expert.
The UKA-10 installations and UKA – 40 are compact, convenient in service, are universal, have uniform element base and high level of unification.
The data obtained during tests testify that the family of block and modular compressor and aerosol installations well carries out engineering procedure of disinfection of air and rooms and will find appropriate use in cattle-breeding and poultry-farming farms of Ukraine.
