AGROFIBRE SALES IN the CRIMEA GROW EFFORTS of FARMERS
Benefits from agrofibre use considerably surpass expenses on it – the Crimean farmers – producers of vegetable production argue. For the last year volumes of its realization considerably increased, though exact figures don’t call, referring to a trade secret. By estimates of specialists of the Crimean representation of PAM, the agrofibre market in the Crimea annually increases not less than by a third. Already passed the period of tests and mistakes, and this year agricultural producers gave the preference to more dense agrofibre (to SUF 23 and SUF 30) which is, as a rule, used: during the autumn period – for protection of plants against the first frosts and extension of the period of realization, and in spring – for receiving early production.
Under agrofibre, as well as under a film, more high temperature is supported. Besides, this substitute of a film well passes light, air and water. It spread directly on plants or crops, without trampling down them, and powder edges with the earth. In such conditions practically till cleaning it is possible to grow up early vegetables: garden radish, salad, early ripe cabbage, sprouts of a cucumber, vegetable marrow, melon, pepper, eggplant, tomato and other cultures. Easy as a web, the fabric at all doesn’t oppress normal activity of plants and reliably resists to frosts to – 2°S. Experts predict that agrofibre sales in the next years will keep the growth rates.
