Personnel training – a basis of successful work

Today very quickly change as external conditions (the economic policy of the state, the legislation and taxation system, there are new competitors, etc.), and internal operating conditions of the organization (restructuring of the enterprises, technological changes, emergence of new workplaces, etc.) that puts the majority of the enterprises before need of preparation of the personnel to work in new conditions.

Achievement of long-term and short-term objectives, need of increase of competitiveness and carrying out organizational changes demand higher professional standard of the personnel and well planned, accurately organized work on personnel training. The knowledge received by workers in higher educational institutions, promptly becomes outdated, need of their essential updating accrues. Training is urged to prepare the personnel for the correct solution of more wide range of tasks and to provide high level of efficiency in work.

In order that training was equitable to interests of the organization, it is necessary to answer the following questions:

– What sphere of action of the organization, in what market her main consumers?

– Than the organization plans to be engaged tomorrow? What functions and kinds of activity will make the content of tomorrow’s activity of the organization?

– What additional professional knowledge, skills and abilities be required to workers for successful performance of these functions and kinds of activity?

– What categories of workers and that should be learned first of all?

– In what terms should be trained various categories of the personnel for successful and timely achievement of the purposes of the organization?

The training of the workers which has not been coordinated to the organizational purposes for which use of results it is not created conditions, risks to turn into waste of time and money.

Development of the system of training of the personnel consists of the following stages:

1. Diagnostics of an existing situation and detection of need of introduction of amendments in operating practice of training of the personnel.

2. Coordination and preparation for the statement of the general package of the documents regulating training of the personnel.

3. Carrying out meeting of an administrative board for consideration of the purposes and the tasks connected with introduction of system of training of the personnel.

4. Informing of workers on the purposes and the maintenance of the developed system of training of the personnel.

5. Definition of workers which will be responsible for concrete sites of works.

6. Introduction and practical realization of system of training of the personnel.

In work on training of the personnel the following seven main directions can be allocated:

1. Statement of the purposes of training.

2. Definition of requirement for training.

3. Definition of the contents, forms and methods of training and necessary resources.

4. Choice or preparation of teachers.

5. Carrying out complex of preparatory activities (preparation of provisions, appointment responsible, formation of educational groups).

6. Carrying out training.

7. Learning efficiency assessment.

The major principles which realization provides success of training, it is necessary to consider:

– providing listeners with full and timely feedback about efficiency of their training (a praise, analysis of mistakes, constructive criticism, etc.);

– the accounting of initial level of knowledge being trained.

– practical working off of received knowledge and skills;

– transfer of the acquired knowledge and skills in operating conditions;

– demand of results of training;

– formation and maintenance of high motivation to training;

The organizations, ready to invest money in training of the employees, can count that the workers who have raised level of the vocational training, can easier and quicker solve more complex problems, quicker cope with difficulties in work, at them level of commitment to the enterprise will be higher, readiness to work for it wholeheartedly is higher than forces.
