In this article the history of existence of Krasnoperekopsky Management of the Water management is described. This year 45 years as dneprovsky water came for the first time on North Crimean channel are executed and farmers of the area started an irrigation of crops.

On October 17, 1963 dneprovsky water came for the first time on North Crimean channel to the Crimean peninsula and accepted its Krasnoperekopsky area. In 1964 the first in the Crimea two economy started an irrigation of crops from the North Crimean channel: state farms "Taurian" and "Pyatiozyorny" on the area of 3993 hectares from which 1806 hectares were taken away under fig.
Now in staff of management of 285 people, system construction is finished. Area of an irrigation of 37026 hectares, or 45 % of all farmland of the area. 13,1 thousand hectares it is the share of rice crop rotations. Irrigated lands are used by 70 water users.
The water fence in system from the North Crimean channel is made by 15 pump stations and in irrigation canals 4 samotyochny water intakes. Largest of them – the Razdolnensky rice channel providing an irrigation in 5 areas: Krasnoperekopsky, Pervomaisk, Razdolnensky, Saksky, Black Sea. The general extent suited – 47 km, including, on territories of the Krasnoperekopsky region of 28,4 km, the maximum design expense in the head of the channel 69 of m3/s.
The general extent of intereconomic irrigation canals makes 65 km, intraeconomic – 1175,7 km. For removal of surface and drainage water the water waste network in extent of 971,5 km, including, 3,9 km – intereconomic operates. All intraeconomic network grain – fodder crop rotations is executed in concrete facing, trays and pipes.
For the purpose of prevention of bogging, a zasoleniye of irrigated lands and flooding of settlements by irrigational ground waters drainage works on the area of 18577 hectares and 25 settlements are carried out protected from flooding.
In a zone of Krasnoperekopsky irrigating system 71 electrified pump stations were constructed. From them 29 irrigating pump stations with total productivity of 21,5 m3/s and the established capacity of 12,3 thousand kW, 4 meliorative and 33 drainage.
Own forces Krasnoperekopsky UVH carries out works on restoration of a network of irrigation canals, capital and maintenance of pump stations and hydraulic engineering constructions. Cleaning of channels of deposits, silt is annually made, partial repair of facing of channels, replacement of panel board locks, repair and audit pump and power, and also the equipment regulating water supply is carried out. Repairs of buildings of pump stations and hydraulic engineering constructions are all the year round carried out. In 2006-2007 of deposits and silt it was cleared 16,1 thousand m3 of an intereconomic meliorative network, maintenance of 24 hydraulic engineering constructions, 19 pump stations, 5 hydroposts is carried out, 49 units of the pump and power, electroregulating and other equipment are repaired. The total area of preparation of irrigated lands made 21,11 thousand hectares.
Specialists of Krasnoperekopsky management of a water management render services not only in water supply, but also in cleaning of an intraeconomic irrigating network by excavators, make technological and design and budget documentation, design, construction new and reconstruction of existing meliorative systems.
To receive stably big crops of grain crops, continuous watering is necessary. In this connection, at pump stations multipurpose counters of the electric power are established. Efficiency of use of multitariff counters at the correct organization of a machine irrigation within days the high. Feature of the multitariff account consists that the consumed electric power on zones of time of day is summarized. The economy in 2006 made 39,7 thousand UAH., in 2007 – 33,6 thousand UAH.
In 2007 design productivity of rice in the area is received for 98,6 % of a cultivated area, and all farmland on irrigated lands, for 95,9 % of the area, including, grain – for 96,8 % in SOOO Perekop’s Storm, JSC Dnepr-agro, SPK "Nady", design productivity of grain crops is received on all cultivated area.
The state compensates for a number of years cost of the consumed electric power used on watering of agricultural cultures and cultivation of fig.
Preventive works and network repair are annually conducted. In 2004-2005 the hydraulic engineering construction "Aqueduct" which Chatyrlyk (a construction of 1966) is on the RRK channel over the small river is repaired. For ensuring capacity in 153 m3/seconds four more ferro-concrete trays of rectangular section, were mounted by length of 72 m. Capital repair of "Aqueduct" was necessary for elimination of a filtration and elimination of other factors influencing safety of use of this object. For performance of capital repair from the state budget of Ukraine the sum of 184,6 thousand UAH was allocated. Capital repair is executed.
Restoration of dozhdevalny equipment is necessary. If according to the project for watering of the area of 37026 hectares 252 dozhdevalny cars were provided, their quantity was reduced.
Taken measures allowed to hold nature protection events in the Krasnoperekopsky area for the sum of 194,03 thousand UAH., and in the cities of Krasnoperekopsks and Armyansk – for the sum of 569,8 thousand UAH., including from the budget of AR Crimea 200 thousand UAH are allocated., from the budget of the cities – 356,2 thousand UAH.
As well as in other managements in 2001 we created control service behind rational use, protection and reproduction of water resources. She keeps control of a condition of water objects of local value.
For maintenance of an appropriate technical and esthetic condition of water economic objects in the I half-year 2007 own forces of management executed maintenance of objects for the sum of 17,6 thousand UAH. (at the expense of means of the general fund) and for the sum of 29,8 thousand UAH. (at the expense of means of special fund). In 2007 161,2 thousand UAH were mastered. budgetary funds on objects of capital repair Fall of level of ground waters in the territory of page of Novoaleksandrovk of the Krasnoperekopsky area and Fall of level of ground waters in the territory of page of Magazink of the Krasnoperekopsky area.
The collective of Krasnoperekopsky UVH conducts work on promotion of ecological knowledge, promotes water users in increase in the areas of watering of irrigated lands, rational use of irrigation water.
Since 1963 Krasnoperekopsky management of operation of irrigating systems the vigorous, competent, qualified expert – Ivan Borisovich Kozhanov who has passed on experience headed, the knowledge in 1974 to Vladimir Nikolaevich Barilo who has come to management in 1966 after service in army.
Valentin Andriyovych Sardak, the honored worker of a water management of the Autonomous Republic Crimea, headed Management from 2000 to 2006, having arrived for work from the Rovno institute of a water management. In 2007 it transferred reins of government to Yury Fyodorovich Sovgir who worked not one ten years, having passed a way from the driver of NANOSECOND, the chief of RSO, the chief engineer to the first head.
