In 1987 it leaves the international school of cynologists in Rostov and with the pets the Grant and Santa 18 years work as the cynologist in Belogorsky regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Not one crime was opened by means of his favourites who took part in the championship of Ukraine on cynology twice and took prizes twice.
Then worked as the district police officer in the village. Flower and as the extent of a site was considerable, the collective farm allocated to it two horses. Since then Ivan doesn’t leave them, and after leaving on pension decided to be engaged seriously in horse sports and horse tourism.
On the former horse-racing base of the village Fragrant gets for cultivation pair of budennovsky sports horses, and on plemferme the Crimean agricultural institute – a horse of thoroughbred English breed.
In 2001 kept only 5 horses, and now in its herd already 46 handsome. Sports horses dominate, certainly, but is also Bashkir, intended for horse tourism.
Many obstacles should be overcome to Ivan Solenykh at formation of the business. There were big problems with the maintenance of horses, breeding work and the equipment of horse-racing base. To solve them his friend, the former officer a simferopolets Yury Nikolaevich Markov, the ardent admirer of equestrian sport helped it.
There was time when horses of the farmer appeared homeless. It was necessary to Ivan to leave the former, already improved hippodrome in the village. Fragrant and to transfer the uneasy economy to a farm rented by it in state farm "Gurzufsky", behind a village fence of the village of Mezhgorye which is located in the most picturesque corner of the Crimea. Everything it was necessary to make a fresh start. Podlatal the former poultry farm, adapted under the maintenance of horses, built a hippodrome on 400 places, however, for the present open-air, the arena, a race field, put a protection, built 3 arbors. Diligent it was helped with all by his pupils – young equestrians.
And here at the end of September of the past year on horse base the Village Free the first Crimean Cossack games were held. Ivan Solenykh – the Cossack of the Crimean Cossack union, invited to them representatives of other Cossack armies for test of young horses. Responded to its invitation: ataman of the Crimean Cossack union V. Tcherkashin, ataman of the Crimean register army A.Palochkin, ataman of the Ukrainian army S. Kazachenko. More than two hundred Cossacks in total gathered. Action passed under the aegis of the Ukrainian register Cossacks. Jumps were carried out six hours in a row and included two main issues: riding as cowboy’s games and smooth jumps on two-three summer horses. The ataman of the Crimean register army A.Palochkin and the owner of restaurant Old Fortress of V. Velikodny sponsored action. Competitions watched a great number of the audience from Belogorsk, Simferopol, Yalta, Feodosiya and neighboring villages.
At the end of October the second horse games were held. More than 400 audience became participants really an entertainment holiday, the community of the Crimean Cossack union of Belogorsk, the Crimean Cossack union, and also Belogorsky STK OSOU organized which. Prizes and gifts from sponsors were handed over to winners of three types of races.
Ivan Solenykh is very grateful to everything who helps it to carry out such good and interesting deed. But it isn’t going to stop on it. In its next plans development of horse tourism. After all to tourists to it is what to show: historical zuysky woods, excavation of ancient Scythian settlements, delights of the Crimean Mountains and woods.
And still he wants to organize school of young equestrians that the youth of our area reached for the nature and sports.
And as to horse breeding that he intends to organize properly at modern level breeding work on reproduction of high-thoroughbred sports horses.
To reach all this considerable money are necessary. And the most sick problem now – repayment of a stable which he rents. Its cost is rather high, to it, of course, it is too expensive. And eviction of his horses from the previous habitat brings it into constant concern. There is only one hope that the state farm "Gurzufsky" will sell nobody this stable. It is possible still that there will be a sponsor who will help Ivan Solenykh to introduce all his kind undertakings in life, to continue favourite business.
