In article the Laws of Ukraine regulating functional systems of identification of animals since January 1 2007g are specified. Specialists of regional managements of the Agrarian Party of Russia are informed on these requirements. Therefore this year identification of animals should pass in short terms.

According to the Law of Ukraine About veterinary medicine (article 15 point 6) and other normative legal acts regulating functioning of system of identification since January 1, 2007 moving of not identified animal all types it is forbidden, and also meat and milk realization from them is limited. Specialists of regional managements of agroindustrial development and managements of veterinary medicine, the head of village councils, heads of farms of all forms of ownership, owners who contain cattle in personal country farms, in our opinion, are well informed on these requirements. However, considering that as of January 1, 2007 in the republic there were not identified 85 thousand more heads of cattle, 160 thousand. the heads of pigs, 220 thousand heads of sheep, 3 thousand heads of horses, develop impression that many owners of animals didn’t know about need of carrying out identification. Knew, and to that confirmation is that more than 64 percent of cattle are already identified.
