Article is devoted to burning of the bricketed grass for the purpose of obtaining energy. In it it is said that such alternative fuel easily is reproduced, and grassy briquettes have enormous potential as low-expensive, small-sized, a renewable source of energy.
Article is intended for agricultural producers of various form of ownership and is of interest for laymen.

Over the last 10 years burning of the bricketed grass for the purpose of obtaining energy became the widespread technology accepted in Europe. Burning of such biological fuel is favorable both with economic, and with ecological the points of view.
To grow up a grass, lawns including, it is meaningful not only for pleasure, but also for receiving economic and harmless fuel. Such alternative fuel easily is reproduced, and farmers can bricket without effort it and burn in furnaces for burning of wood or grain briquettes.
The strongest argument of supporters of this technology: 70 days are required only to grow up quantity of a grass necessary for briquetting, and to extract the same amount of traditional fuel. It is necessary to enclose 70 million dollars. At the same time, such biofuel could fill up the income of farmers.
Grassy briquettes have enormous potential as low-expensive, small-sized, a renewable source of energy which can be made on a place, right there be processed and consumed.
The negative side of a situation – unfortunately, a grass has no rather convincing practical experience from its use in Ukraine which would start to development of this new alternative type of energy.
The industry of the bricketed grass successfully develops in Europe, thanks to financing of this type of the industry.
The ratio between power costs of production of the bricketed grass and quantity made (as a result of burning) energy is essential more favourably, than in cases with burning of other biomass. Teplotvorny ability of various grassy briquettes makes to 96 % from that for wood briquettes, but when burning a grass there is no problem of harmful emissions. However, the grass gives more ashes, than wood, and more frequent cleaning of furnaces is therefore necessary.
Now experiments on burning in furnaces of various vegetative briquettes, for example, from a grass – a timofeevka meadow, and from garden plants such as branches of bushes are made.
Biofuel briquettes are much more favorable for environment as they when burning allocate almost for 90 % less hotbed gases, than oil, coal or natural gas. Besides, the grass – a plant long-term, not demanding fertilizers also is capable grow on waste lands.
For biofuel any mix of the herbs which has been cut off in the middle or at the end of summer, or left in the field for a vyshchelachivaniye can be used. After collecting drying of hay isn’t required, therefore cost of processing of such raw materials is lower, than wood.
