These people, with calloused hands from hard country work, it is possible to meet in the market where they sell the production. And when will find free time, veterans in collective that though a little to have a rest, meet friends hurry, to talk about life – life.
Such possibility to veterans is represented created in villages of the Krasnogvardeysky area by the centers socially – household rehabilitation. Now them already 14. And further intends to continue the leaders of the area this necessary work. The chairman of primary organization of veterans of war and work of the former KSP "Leninets" tells about one of such centers Eudoxia Grinko.
- Our organization – speaks Eudoxia Vasilyevna – totals more than 400 pensioners of different age. Each of them, in due time, brought a big contribution in socially – economic development of our strong agricultural enterprise. These people worked as machine operators and cattle breeders, vegetable growers and gardeners, performed honestly and other works, for what many were awarded by awards and medals of which are proud and today. In the centers aspire to create for veterans a maximum of conveniences.
At the initiative of the former vice-chairman of Krasnogvardeysky regional council Valentina Alyonina who has grown in the village of Novopokrovk, and the director of local school working before election, passed a descent of inhabitants on which it was offered to organize here the center socially – household rehabilitation.
At first people didn’t believe that can it it was difficult make, convince them. But soon on the village initiators, generally pensioners began to go, teachers then were connected. They went on yards, explained, creation in the village of a corner of a cosiness and rest where it is possible not only to spend time pleasantly is how necessary, but also free of charge to receive the necessary services. And people believed, responded – collected about 1000 hryvnias …. and work began.
The first that made – organized a community work day. Day stood out then cold, but pensioners, youth came to a community work day. 40 people worked wonderfully well. The building chosen for the center, at once after completion of work took other form. The raised money went on internal repair and room furnish. The enthusiasts inspired with idea were engaged in it. Then the turn of those who could restore old furniture, inhabitants of the village – Zynaida Kolesnik, Nikolay Shkvarun, Nikolay Rudnika, Vladimir Yaroshenko, Nikolay Anistratenko came. And representatives of local council of veterans worked so that the others believed – to the center to be. And how many was expectations while connected light, but everything executed, made.
After a long and tough job solemn opening of the center took place. It called "Spring". On opening there arrived many guests from the area, inhabitants of the village came. The concert on which the Gospodarochka ensemble consisting of 14 pensioners till 70 years acted took place. Held the competition "Superbabushka". Olga Kuzmenko – mother of seven children, the grandmother of fourteen grandsons, the great-grandmother of five great-grandsons became his winner.
Olga Znayesheva who has acted then the New Pokrovsk rural head, told, how villagers the hands opened "Spring". It constantly happens here, is interested in affairs and needs of the center, helps, as far as possible. Don’t leave veterans in loneliness and their sponsors – Jacob Bushkovsky – the head of ChSP "Valley", local farmers – Alexander Bely, Alexander Zubrev, Nina Kravtsov, they support the center and morally.
- We love "Spring". With pleasure we come here, we arrange to themselves holidays. Here it is possible to have hair cut, make free of charge laying, to receive massage, to measure arterial pressure, to pass physical procedures. Warmly and comfortably in our lodge, there are a lot of flowers, ideal purity, good design. We wouldn’t like to leave home, even verses composed: Green branches as hand concern windows of "Spring", they want with us as though the conversation to get. In "Spring" at us it is pure, cozy, a museum with the old times, in "Spring" at us it is very beautiful, the furniture the novelty shines….
Opening and work of the center of social rehabilitation it seems and a small event, but it convinces that only peasants can make more interesting the life.
