The author of article tells about the quarantine object, the dangerous wrecker of grain and zernoproduktov – a koprovy bug. Measures of fight against a kaprovy bug are given.

The Kaprovy bug is widespread in many countries with warm climate. For all countries having fytosanitory service including for Russia and Ukraine, is quarantine object. The most dangerous wrecker of the whole grain, seeds, ground and droblenny zernoproduktov. Body of a bug korotkoovalny, slightly convex, henna-red. Length of a body from 1,6 to 3 mm. Males more small than females. Bugs don’t fly and don’t eat, there live 10-20 days. During this time the female postpones on the average 70 eggs. The larva has 6-8 age. Under adverse conditions of a larva run into a condition diapauzy which can proceed till three years.
The kaprovy bug with infected production, vehicles, container and the warehouse equipment extends.
The usual destructive actions which are carried out against ordinary wreckers of stocks, against a kaprovy bug are insufficiently effective because of his biological feature – to develop a diapaziruyushchy form of a survival of larvae. Therefore against distribution of a kaprovy bug it is very important to observe strict quarantine and at identification of infection in due time to carry out disinfecting on the modes developed against a kaprovy bug.
Destruction of arthropods of wreckers of stocks by a chemical method carry out damp, aerosol and gas in the ways. When disinfecting rooms the combination of these ways is possible. Directly infected with wreckers zernoprodukty and the food: a flour, grain, pasta, dried vegetables and fruit, compound feeds – process only a fumigation method. Processing of finished products of a food by damp way isn’t made for sanitary reasons. Now the list of the preparations resolved for application, two fumigant enter actually: bromic methyl and fosfin.
The task of identification of quarantine organisms is assigned to points on quarantine of plants. The Evpatoriysky point regularly surveys the West Crimean elevator. Results of inspection showed that now the elevator is free from this quarantine wrecker.
It is carried out as work on identification of possible import of the quarantine wrecker from abroad – food chambers of motor ships, food stocks of drivers of cars from Turkey, hand luggage of passengers of the motor ships, all objects of regulation imported from abroad and other areas of Ukraine, unsuccessful on infection with a kaprovy bug look round in port. Now on the objects assigned to Evpatoriysky point on quarantine of plants the quarantine wrecker – the kaprovy bug isn’t revealed.
