On April 11 in the Simferopol area the seminar was held on production of a biodiesel engine in Ukraine. Development of this branch of power in the Crimea is noted. Installation on processing of linen and rape oil in a biodiesel engine was presented.

According to the Law of Ukraine About alternative types of rare and gaseous fuel Minagroprolitiki developed the development program of production of diesel biofuel in Ukraine for the period till 2010. The same Law provides stimulation of introduction of the latest production technologies of alternative types of fuel, and also preparation of the regulations directed on creation of system of state standards in the sphere of production and use of alternative types of fuel, in particular, of diesel biofuel with ecological and technical indicators of its quality.
Great attention to development of alternative power will soil and at us in the Crimea. At the initiative of the Simferopol district state administration, on April 11 this year the sectional seminar meeting on which heads of agricultural enterprises acquainted with operating installation on processing of linen and rape oil in a biodiesel engine was carried out. To participants of a seminar meeting showed also a tractor in work on this fuel. And they could be convinced personally that the biodiesel engine concedes nothing to diesel fuel.
Installation is located in the village. Fruitful on the basis of AOOO "Fruitful" of the Simferopol area. The owner of installation – the enterprise "Biodiesel Krym", which place of basing – the 9th kilometer of Moskovskoye Highway. Productivity of the equipment of 6000 l of diesel fuel per day (24 hours of continuous work).
