Conference of wine-growers-pitomnikovodov

Article acquaints the reader with the main results of scientific and practical conference on which questions of a condition and prospects of development of a grape pitomnikovodstvo, wine growing and winemaking of Ukraine were considered.

On October 9, 2007 on the basis of the State enterprise of the National research-and-production agrarian association "Massandra" (Yalta), took place scientific and practical conference on a subject: Condition and prospects of development of a grape pitomnikovodstvo, wine growing and winemaking of Ukraine.

In conference took part: ranking officers of the Ministry of an agrarian policy of Ukraine, UAAN, NNTs IVIV of Tairov, NIViV "Magarach", GP Massandr’s NPAO, heads and specialists of the pitomnikovodchesky vinogradarsky and wine-making enterprises, representatives of civil services, Ukrglavgoskarantin, public and branch formations.

The practical part of conference was conducted by the director general of GP Massandr’s NPOA – N.K.Boyko. Grape plantings of an izobilnensky valley and production of ordinary and vintage wines in GP "Alushta" were shown to participants.

The plenary part of conference was opened by the first deputy minister of an agrarian policy of Ukraine B. Supikhanov. He told about a condition and prospects of development of a grape pitomnikovodstvo and winemaking, about the sphere of increase of competitiveness of production of branch in the conditions of the accession to the World Organization of Trade. The director of National institute of grapes and wine (NIViV) of "Magarach" of A.Avidzba continued a subject.

Reports were made by the director of the Odessa regional state administration I.Plachkov, the deputy director of NNTs IVIV of V. Tairov as I.Shevchenko, the chief of the Ukrainian state pomologichno-ampelografichesky inspection Y.Gudzy and others.
