The physiological role of copper is defined by its inclusion in composition of proteins and enzymes. It strengthens communication of molecular nitrogen from the atmosphere, digestion of nitrogen from the soil and fertilizers, accumulation of proteins, reduces intensity of disintegration of a chlorophyll, increases ability of plants to resist to drowning, raises them zasukho-, morozo-and heat resistance. Deficiency of copper detains growth and flowering of plants, causes xloroz, turgor loss. At cereals at sharp shortage of copper tips of leaves grow white and the ear (an illness white plague) doesn’t develop, and in fruit – the sukhovershinnost is shown.
The requirement of copper grows at application of high doses of nitric fertilizers.
