Cold way of storage of manure

In article it is a question of ways of storage of manure, their advantages and shortcomings.

Manure densely stack in stacks in width not less 3-4m and height 1,5-2M. After laying and an utrambovyvaniye of weight of a stack from above cover with rezany straw or peat to reduce nitrogen losses. Manure decomposition, except for blankets at dense storage of manure occurs, in anaerobny conditions (without air access) at temperature 20-25os in the winter and 30-35os in the summer.

At such way of storage decomposition of manure proceeds more slowly, than at a hot way. Fresh manure turns in semi-rerotting through 3-5 months, and into the rerotting – in 7-8 months. Nitrogen losses from manure at cold storage are much lower, than at other ways of storage. In 3-4 months at dense storage of manure 1\9-1\10 part of solid is lost. This way of storage is the most acceptable.
