The nation-wide system of identification installed in this year and registration of all animal species is urged to put things in order in cattle-breeding branch. It will provide reliable protection and human health prevention, providing them reliable information about conditions to what myasomolochny production was carried out. Thanks to it there was a possibility to optimize implementation of plans of veterinary medicine on prevention, veterinary control, treatment and elimination of infectious, invazionny and noncontagious diseases. The system promotes transparency of production and processing of production of animal husbandry that will cause in the consumer trust to it.
In the Crimea our regional branch of Agency in which more than 170 agents, practically in all areas and the cities work is engaged in identification and registration of all animal species.

Cost of identification of one head of cattle for the population makes 13grn. 50 kop, pigs – 12 UAH. 60 kop, sheep – 8 UAH. 70 kopeks.
This work goes now at full speed. However not all owners of animals know that is necessary cattle proidentificirovat till July 1, 2006, and all livestock of pigs, sheep and goats – till January 1, 2007 as after that moving of animals, meat and milk realization from not pro-identified cattle will be forbidden.
