Information of Head department of statistics in AR Crimea about an animal husbandry condition in all categories of farms of the Crimea for September 1, 2007.
For July 1, 2000 in agricultural enterprises of the Crimea number of a number of cattle was reduced against the similar period of last year – by 52,0 thousand
In farms of all categories in January-August, 2007 the meat volume of production in comparison with last year increased by 14,7 thousand t (for 13,8 %) and made 121,5 thousand t, production of milk (238,6 thousand t) – on 6,0 thousand t (for 2,6 %). Production of eggs (411,3 million pieces) decreased by 15,5 million pieces (for 3,6 %).
In agricultural enterprises of all forms of ownership and managing (incl. small) production of milk decreased by 7,6 %, eggs – for 13,8 %, cattle and bird realization on slaughter increased in comparison with the corresponding period of last year by 13,8 %.
In farms of the population cattle and bird realization increased by slaughter – for 13,6 %, production of milk – for 4,2 %, eggs – for 11,1 %.
The share of farms of the population in total amount of production made: meat – 40 %, milk – 88 %, eggs – 47 % (in 2006g. according to 40 %, 86 % and 41 %).
Number of cattle in farms of all categories in comparison with September 1 2006g. increased by 8,8 thousand heads (to 221,5 thousand heads), including cows – on 1,6 thousand heads (to 94,2 thousand heads), pigs – on 29,8 thousand heads (to 189,1 thousand heads), sheep and goats – on 40,1 thousand heads (to 309,0 thousand heads), birds – on 419,0 thousand heads (to 11199,0 thousand heads).
In agricultural enterprises the number of cattle decreased by 4,3 %, cows – for 17,8 %, sheep and goats – for 1,4 %, the livestock of pigs – increased by 18,3 %, birds – for 3,3 %.
In farms of the population the gain of number of cattle for 8,1 %, a livestock of cows – for 5,1 %, pigs – for 19,2 %, sheep and goats – for 18,5 %, birds – for 4,6 % is observed.
