Specialists of the ministry of an agrarian policy of Ukraine studied experience of the European countries: Poland, Italy, Spain in which the vegetable markets are created and supervised by the state

In this heading are reported about the project of creation of the vegetable markets in Ukraine by experience of the European countries. Besides here the comparative characteristic of stocks of grain is provided in the agrarian enterprises of Ukraine according to Goskomstat.

In EU countries near big cities the wholesale vegetable and fruit markets in the average area about 50 hectares are located. Indispensable conditions of a choice of a place – the good traffic intersection, capable to pass 7-8 thousand cars a day. The newest lines of processing, sorting, washing, a freezing, packing and storage of vegetables and fruit work at the markets. The similar scheme want to introduce and in Ukraine.

The corresponding concept was developed by the Ministry of an agrarian policy of Ukraine and sent to Cabinet council.

By calculations of experts, for creation of one such market in Ukraine it is necessary to invest from 20 to 40 million dollars. Payback of the similar project – about 10 years. In Poland where thanks to support of the state the similar markets are organized, on their base the open joint stock companies which actions are on sale to farmers and the wholesalers trading in these markets are now created.
