In the publication it is a question of a positive tendency in animal husbandry branch on increase in all categories of farms of a livestock of all species of agricultural animals and productions of main types of production. In the republic considerable work on rendering of services to the population in questions of reproduction of agricultural animals, purchases of milk and the meat which has been grown up by the population is carried out. 189 points of artificial insemination of a uterine number of cattle, 146 points on veterinary service of animals and birds are created and works for the population, 175 points on milk purchase at the population and 36 •’ · • points on a face and processing of animals.
Work results
In the current year in branch of animal husbandry the positive tendency on increase was outlined in all categories of farms of a livestock of all species of agricultural animals and productions of main types of production.
The index of agricultural production in the comparable prices of 2005 made on all categories of farms of 117,2 %.
In all categories of farms of the republic by the similar period of last year the number of cattle increased by 3,1 %, including cows for 1,0 %, pigs – for 14 %, sheep – for 14,9 %, birds – 6,5 %. Production of milk increased by 3,4 %, meat for 11,6 %, wool – 18,5 % and only production of eggs decreased for 2,0 % because of dumping of a livestock of leading poultry-farming farms of the republic: ChSP "East" of the Lenin area and AOOO Southern – Holding the Simferopol area and three enterprises of Feodosiya.
From 14 areas of the republic all areas increased a number of cattle, a bird and sheep, a livestock of cows – 13 areas, except Dzhankoysky, a livestock of pigs of-13 areas, except Black Sea.
In agricultural enterprises efficiency of all animal species raised.
As a whole on the republic nady on a cow in agricultural enterprises in 9 months made 2886 kg that is more than level of last year on 39 kg. More republican indicator agricultural producers Saksky (3086 kg), Krasnogvardeysky (3172 kg), Bakhchsarai (3103 kg) areas bothered from one cow.

With a view of stabilization and further development of branch, the Council of ministers of the Autonomous Republic Crimea adopted eleven Resolutions, 6 republican seminars – meetings are carried out. The rating of work of branch of animal husbandry among regional public administrations of the republic is monthly carried out.

As of October 1, 2007 to agricultural enterprises of the republic it is added grants for the vysokokonditsionny young growth of cattle grown up and sold on a face and birds – 50641,175 thousand UAH., 50189,401 thousand UAH are paid., according to the program of selection of-3410,0 thousand UAH., for a livestock of ewes also it is bright is more senior than one year-3978,5 of one thousand UAH.
For increase of genetic potential of animals, providing the population and commodity farms by breeding young growth in the republic it is created and 5 breeding plants on cultivation of cattle of dairy breeds, 1- on cultivation of pigs and 3 – on cultivation of sheep and 33 breeding loud-speakers of all types of cattle and a bird work.
In breeding farms it is grown up and realized breeding young growth of cattle of 155 heads, pigs of-268 heads, sheep of-166 heads.
Further development of branch of animal husbandry is directed on increase in production, improvement of pedigree and productive qualities of animals, stabilization of number of a livestock of cows, introductions of new technologies of the contents and feeding of cows, a hardware of farms by the equipment of new generation.
