The sector of mechanization of National institute of grapes and Magarach wine developed a mobile grinder of scraps of grapevine IV-1,5, is intended for their collecting, crushing and further scattering of the crushed weight in row-spacings of vineyards as fertilizers.
Annually from each hectare of a fructifying vineyard more than 3-4 tons of scraps of rods are removed, and for the entire period of its operation completely vanishes from 50 to 100 tons of valuable organic weight. At existing technology these scraps push out from row-spacings and burn beyond their limits.
At least 10-15 kg of nitrogen, 6-8 kg of phosphorus, 12-16 kg of potassium from each hectare of plantings, i.e. all energy potential of organic weight of scraps whereas the crushed weight can serve as organic fertilizer are thus lost.
As a rule, the earth of vineyards need agrotechnical improvement as the maintenance of a humus in the soil isn’t enough (in many farms of the Crimea its contents doesn’t exceed 1-2 %) that adversely affects quality of a crop of grapes.
The cut-off grapevine can be used as organic fertilizer if it to bring in the soil after preliminary crushing. It increases fertility of the soil that is proved by the special experiences which have been carried out at institute of grapes and Magarach wine.
The sector of mechanization of institute developed a mobile grinder of scraps of grapevine IV-1,5, intended for their collecting, crushing and further scattering of the crushed weight in row-spacings of the vineyards, which width not less than 2,5 m. This grinder can be used in palmetny gardens for performance of similar operations.

By results of the acceptance tests which have been carried out on It is southern – the Ukrainian MIS, Kherson, the grinder of scraps of grapevines IV-1,5 is recommended for statement on production.
In 2005-2006 the grinder passed economic check on economy vineyards state farm – NPAO "Massandra" Morskoye plant.
It is expedient to organize production of this car in the Crimea.
