Minagropolitiki AR Crimea held the next seminar concerning an intensification of branch of animal husbandry. This time it had character exit and passed in an arrangement of Institute of a zhivltnovodstvo of steppe areas of M.F.Ivanov "Askaniya-Nova" UAAN.
Deputy chairmen of regional public administrations, chiefs of managements of agroindustrial development, heads of a number of agricultural enterprises and the organizations of an autonomy examined and familiarized with scientific development "Askanii-Nova" and discussed questions of cooperation and scientific providing branch of animal husbandry of AR Crimea. The seminar was conducted by the director of Askaniya-Nova Institute V. N. Voronenko and the deputy minister of an agrarian policy of AR Crimea V.L.Tyshkevich.
Being, without exaggeration, Mecca for livestock specialists, this scientific center has rich history and scientific heritage. The first in the territory of imperial Russia scientific institution of a zootechnical profile. Thanks to active research involvement of academician M.F.Ivanov here in 1910 the zootechnical station was created, in 1931 – the institute is based, and in 1998 it was given the status of the National scientific selection and genetic center for sheep breeding. Such, only separate marks of it known for the whole world, establishments.
Since 1990 at institute the new directions of research in biotechnology and cellular engineering are introduced. Methods of transplantation of embryos of sheep and an embrionoklonirovaniye are fulfilled, the technology of a cryopreservation of sperm of manufacturing rams is improved.
Minagropolitika Ukrainy’s order from December 29, 2005 of No. 766/130 to Institute of animal husbandry of steppe areas "Askaniya-Nova" appropriated the statuses of the selection center for sheep breeding, laboratory of genetic control, laboratory on transplantation of embryos, to laboratory according to quality of milk, laboratory according to quality of wool, control and prospecting station on a svinovodstvo.
As participants of the Crimean delegation, by the way, warmly, neighborly accepted by askaniyets, a range of scientific activity of institute the quite wide were in practice convinced:
- justification of theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of process of a porodosozdaniye in sheep breeding in modern conditions of managing;
- improvement of system of the organization and planning of selection and breeding work in sheep breeding, cattle breeding and a svinovodstvo;
- development of new methods of selection and on their basis improvement existing and creation of new highly productive breeds, types and lines of agricultural animals;
- development of programs of selection of sheep, cattle and pigs at the state and regional levels;
- development of effective methods and forms of preservation of a genofund of breeds of agricultural animals of the Southern region of Ukraine;
- development and realization of new genetic methods of an intensification of selection processes in animal husbandry with use of molecular and genetic markers;
- development new power – and resource-saving production technologies and deep processing of production of sheep breeding;
- development of new biotechnological methods of reproduction of animals, cryopreservations of sexual cages, genetic engineering;
- development of new fodder additives and premixes, and systems of feeding of agricultural animals and kormoproizvodstvo;
- development of economic methods of an intensification of production of animal husbandry in farms of various forms of ownership;
- agroenvironmental monitoring of environment;
- preparation of scientific shots and professional development of experts of agroformations of various forms of ownership.
About high scientific achievements of scientists convince not only the list of theoretical researches, but also for the sake of what the science works – practical results.
Record indicators of efficiency give cows of the Ukrainian red dairy breed deduced here with golshtinizirovanny and zhirnomolochny intra pedigree types. Confirmation to that is herd of a pilot farm of institute in 330 cows which annual efficiency makes 6 thousand kgs, with fat content of 4 %, the content of protein – 3,2 %.
Efficiency of rams makes 6,5 kg of wool in pure fiber. From No. in 281 live mass of 60 kg are bright, 6,8 kg of wool in pure fiber are received at length of wool of 28 centimeters! Pertinently to remember that that far 1931 when the institute was based and only scientific sheep breeding began, hair of house sheep was in the length only 2,5 centimeters.
In this economy successfully plant meat zebuvidny cattle, cattle of the southern meat breed (Taurian type), the Oscan meat type of pigs of the Ukrainian meat breed created at Institute.
As it was not difficult to notice a main type of activity of institute sheep breeding continues to remain. Being head UAAN "Sheep breeding" scientific program establishment it creates an integral modern control system of selection process in sheep breeding by means of information technologies.
Scientists-sheep breeders of Institute work over improvement of pedigree qualities of sheep askaniysky, black-headed, Ukrainian astrakhan breeds. Impress results on improvement of an askaniysky merino by a crossing method with the Australian breed (askaniysky krossbredy).
Scientists spoke about all this, generously sharing the achievements. Departure for practical acquaintance with experimental base of an askiniysky science took place also: laboratory on reproduction of the animals, accompanied by survey of the best copies of manufacturing bulls, rams and ewes, zebuvidny animals.
The great interest was caused by technology of cultivation and care of the cows, applied on doyny herd of an economy: feeding system on a fodder table, manure cleaning by means of delta scrapers, boksovy stalls, milking of cows in a milking hall of the Bratslav system, well approved in practice in the 80th years of last century. All seen by participants of a seminar is optimum for wide introduction in today’s cattle-breeding production.
The vice-chairman of Council of ministers of AR Crimea N. P. Kolisnichenko, the minister of an agrarian policy P.I.Akimov, the chairman of the state administration of the Dzhankoysky area A.V. V.L.Tyshkevich, summing up meeting, in particular, noted a great interest krymchan to studying of experience of scientists of Askaniya-Nova Institute and expressed confidence that very useful communication which was observed during a seminar, served as the beginning of the new business and creative relations between scientists of institute both our heads and experts that will give a new push in development of animal husbandry of the Autonomous Republic Crimea.
