The problem of stabilization of animal husbandry and transition to a steady rise of production are closely connected with new technologies of conducting breeding business and selection of agricultural animals. Management in genetic potential in modern conditions should be carried out with application of ACS of the selection profile providing centrally to process information and is fullest, integrated it to use.
In breeding work there is an experience of use of various software products. Simplest of them allow to prepare summary bonitirovochny reports and to receive additional information from the data files prepared for a bonitirovka of cattle, to receive additional information by drawing up of plans of selection and breeding work, realize algorithms of an assessment of a selection situation and possibilities of its operative change.
In farms ARMS programs (the automated workplace of the selector), including directories, a card file, a bonitirovka, inquiries, statistics, reproduction can be used. Besides standard zootechnical tasks, such as the primary account and a bonitirovka, is carried out an assessment of population and genetic parameters, bulls, lines, interlinear cross-countries. On demand the herd is ranged on efficiency in a cut of separate lines, bulls of producers, farms, milkmaids, parent families are allocated, their schemes are under construction. Inbriding control, definition of a genetic superiority, selection of parental pairs taking into account blood indicators etc. is carried out.
The class of the programs providing a complex assessment and selection on an exterior and efficiency is used: obtaining selection eksteryerny characteristics on each certain daughter of a bull, characteristics of bulls by a summary assessment of daughters, calculation of selection and genetic parameters, a linear assessment of bulls, an assessment of producers for quality of posterity and its communication with eksteryerno-konstitutsionalny characteristics, determination of repeatability "mother daughter" and others.
Developed with reference to needs of genofondny breeds, these and other programs provide the solution of selection tasks, realization of the perspective directions of increase of genetic potential and preservation of a genofund of breeds of cattle.
Use of modern means and methods of mathematical modeling allows to develop receptions of optimization of selection in scales of separate regions and the countries as a whole. Received thanks to application of information systems results can be used in activity of governing bodies by agro-industrial complex for the solution of a problem of increase of genetic potential of agricultural animals in the most economic ways. Breeding work allows to improve the biological means of production which essential difference is ability to reproduce the acquired productive qualities in other generations. Only the cattle with high breeding qualities can provide due return from the resources spent in branch.
