In this note it is a question of the first experience of use for economic needs of energy of the Sun in solar collectors on a roof of the Cherkassk hotel. The established system gives the chance to have irrespective of a season hot water for ensuring requirements of hotel restaurant. Here plan to establish the second turn of solar collectors – for providing with hot water of all hotel.
System cost – 55 thousand hryvnias, Term of its payback about three years, term of operation of installation – more than 25 years. Water in system is warmed up to fifty seven degrees. The first tests passed on May 1 when snow flew by: the system was warmed up stably.
The system of solar collectors established on a roof of the Cherkassk hotel "Rossava" – the experience of use first in area for economic needs of energy of the Sun. The design represents strong glass flasks with a special covering which almost completely absorbs sunshine. Each of tubes is connected to a collector in which water circulates.
According to the director general of the Cherkassk regional enterprise "Cherkassyinturist", the established system gives the chance to have hot water which is meanwhile used for ensuring requirements of hotel restaurant irrespective of a season. Establishment of the second turn of system of solar collectors – for providing with hot water of all hotel will be the following step. The director of hotel realized the innovative ideas using own means.
Solar collectors of the Chinese production for the Ukrainian conditions were adapted by group of the Cherkassk experts. This system allows to receive nearly two cubic meter of hot water per day that completely covers daily requirement of restaurant. System cost – 55 thousand hryvnias.
