Article tells about a creative way, a big contribution to development of the Crimean winemaking and wine growing of scientists-spouses Sergey Timofeevich and Larissa Vasilyevna Tyurinykh.

Them already for eighty. In September of this year Sergey Timofeevich and Larissa Vasilyevna Tyurina celebrated anniversary – 60 years of joint life.

Sergey Timofeevich went on life difficult roads of war. The military way it is noted by two severe wounds and seventeen government awards. And forty years of peace work were devoted by him to development of domestic winemaking and wine growing, having passed a way from the technician of the Central Asian branch to the head of department of leading research institute of grapes and Magarach wine.

Were on its way and protection of the dissertation concerning the major questions of behavior of oxygen in wines, wine materials and its influences on their quality, opening of the new scientific and practical direction in the industrial winemaking, focused on increase of economic efficiency of this important branch for the country. Results of its researches became property of classical textbooks on which studied and many generations of students will study.

Numerous constructional, anticorrosive, pressurizing, filtering and auxiliary materials and substances are studied, selected and introduced.

Sergey Timofeevich participates in the system development directed on increase of stability of work of branch in emergency situations.

The Doctor of Engineering, the academician of the Ukrainian technological academy, the honorary academician of AN of AR Crimea, the coryphaeus of branch of wine growing and the winemaking, one of her largest scientists, the author more than 250 scientific works and about 30 books, Sergey Timofeevich gives a lot of attention to the pupils: under its management 7 master’s theses of graduate students and competitors are prepared and protected.

His true companion – Larissa Vasilyevna in military lixolete transferred all horrors of blockade of Leningrad. Then there was a work at munitions factory in Tashkent, combined with study at institute upon termination of which it was directed on work in the Central Asian branch of Magarach institute the technician of department of microbiology. Here also its first scientific work was published.

In 1952 it was transferred to the Crimea, in VNIIViV "Magarach". Here together with Candidate of Biology E.N.Odintsova develops a new microbiological method of definition of a molecule tiamina. Then they defined specific structure of all museum (about 400) cultures of yeast of the sort Sacchapourucespo to the relation to a galactose. After successful protection of the master’s thesis Larissa Vasilyevna transfer to a position of the senior research associate of department of microbiology where it allocated four best local races of the Sacch.vini yeast forming a granular precipitation and giving good clarification of wine materials, four types of Sacch.ovitormis yeast with high spirtoobrazuyushchy ability and a kislotovynosilivost and two sulfitostoyky races for a sbrazhivaniye of a peresulfitirovanny mash.

Larissa Vasilyevna developed the method, allowing to note sbrazhivaniye process on the brought distributing of pure culture of yeast of a type of Sacch.ovitopmis from process of the spontaneous fermentation passing usually on yeast of a type of Sacch.vini. This method allowed to establish the fact of gradual replacement of one yeast others by production of champagne in aktorofor and a line method.

The particular interest in many scientific universities of the USA, Canada, Germany, France, Czechoslovakia and Poland was caused by Larissa Vasilyevna’s works on yeast killers and the technique of definition of yeast of a phenotype developed by it the killer.
