In a modern svinovodstvo for prevention of neurosises at pigs who lead to losses of live weight and efficiency in depriving, delivery and statement on otkorm, and also under the influence of a number of factors of environment, including ecological, anthropogenous, it is offered to use herbal medicine. It gives an economic benefit and real medical effect. As medical and a prophylactic the vegetative mass of a pustyrnik and grass infusion is used. A grass of a pustyrnik to pigs feed in a mix with compound feed in doses of 2-5 g of vegetative weight at the age of 1-2 months and 5-10 g – are elderly 2-4 months. Infusion of a pustyrnik prepares at the rate of 20 g of a plant on 200 ml of water. A rough dose for pigs 1-2 months – 1 tablespoon 2 times a day for half an hour before feeding; for pigs 2-4 months of 1,5-2 tablespoons 2 times a day for an hour before feeding. The animals who have passed a course of herbal medicine, have healthy appetite, are mobile, body temperature and frequency of breath settling into shape. Pigs eat vegetative mass of a pustyrnik willingly.
