By results of the carried-out tests of various sprayers, recommendations by means of what means are made to fight against weeds, diseases and wreckers of plants.

In the Lvov branch Ukr. NIIPIT of L.Pogorelogo tests of various sprayers are carried out. Their results will help agricultural producers to make the realized choice of the equipment for protection of plants.

During a choice of a sprayer it is necessary to consider such factors:
a) sizes of cultivated areas of an economy.
For powerful farms (over 10000 hectares of grounds) self-propelled sprayers, at which high efficiency, good maneuverability are better adapted. For average farms (from 1000 to 10000 hectares) – prishchepny sprayers, for small farms (to 1000 hectares) – hinged sprayers with tank capacity from 200 to 800 l;
b) existence at firm of a service network.
It is necessary to give advantage to producers at whom well developed customer service which provides warranty and postwarranty service of sprayers for all term of operation, always is available spare parts and accessories;
v) technological level.
Use of sprayers of a high technological level which are equipped with board computers with the monitoring system behind key parameters of work (speed of movement, a dose of introduction, etc.), gives the chance to facilitate work of the operator considerably. For spraying it is necessary to complete modern equipment with hydraulic mixers of working liquid which have some degrees of its filtration; foamy markers; washing systems; reliable stabilizers in work of a field bar; different types of sprays. All communications should be made of the materials resistant to action of hostile environment of agrochemicals.
In Ukraine the wide scale of sprayers is offered by a number of domestic producers: JSC Lvovselmash Plant, JSC Lvovagromashproyekt, software "Bartoshchuk" (Lutsk), JSC Boguslavskaya selkhoztekhnika (The Kiev Region) and the intermediary companies which mainly are distributors of foreign firms: Ukrainian vegetable company UVC (Kiev), Agrosfera company (Dnepropetrovsk).
Both domestic, and foreign producers equip the cars with pumps, working bodies and elements of hydrocommunications of production of the leading European companies: AnnoviReverberi, Arag (Italy), Zecher (Germany), other.
Domestic producers, thanks to own manufacturing of a frame, the chassis, a bar, considerably reduce the price of cost of the production (to 50 %) in comparison with foreign analogs. Thus according to indications of quality of work such sprayers almost don’t concede to the foreign.
JSC Boguslavskaya selkhoztekhnika adjusted release of sprayer EKO-2000-18P with system of compulsory sedimentation of drops an air stream that gives the chance to inform to a processing place well mixed airborne mix with big kinematic energy of drops that considerably improves deduction of working solution on a surface of plants.
JSC Lvovagropromproyekt offers reliable in work shtangovy sprayers of the OPSh-2000 series with a bar 15, 18, 21,6 and 24 m which complete with high-efficiency pumps and regulating equipment of leading European firms, have an optimum ratio the price quality.
On the Lvov branch Ukr. NIIPIT tests of a row both domestic, and foreign cars for chemical protection are carried out.
Tests testified: all sprayers on indicators of quality of performance of engineering procedure meet requirements of standard documentation, have satisfactory indicators of reliability and in the majority occupational safety standards system meet the requirements.
Lately production of the small enterprises which too use accessories of the European firms is in demand. Among them – Subitem sprayers "Bartoshchuk" of an OGN series with capacity of a tank 400, 600 and 800 liters and hook-on OGP-2000. These sprayers are equipped with membrane pumps productivity from 70 to 220 l/minutes. Bars in these cars put and display manually that considerably of them reduces the price.
