GOSKOMSTAT of the Crimea reports
In 2005g. in the Crimea carried out economic activity of 238 statistically large and medium-sized agricultural enterprises. According to preliminary data, the profit in the sum of 351,4 million UAH became financial result of their activity. at cumulative level of profitability of 25,9 %. 133 enterprises, or 56 % of their total number became profitable, is unprofitable worked 104 (44 %) the enterprises (in 2004g. – according to 61 % and 39 %).

The most profitable crop in 2005g. there were potatoes which have brought to producers on 26,1 kopeks of profit for each enclosed hryvnia; production of eggs (21,6 kopeks arrived for hryvnia of expenses) is profitable also. Cultivation of all types of cattle is still unprofitable, and the most unprofitable agricultural production in the Crimea traditionally is wool (81 kopeks of a loss for each hryvnia enclosed in its production).
