In this article the order of recalculation of pensions since October, 2008 is stated.

Since September 1 2008 godapostanovleniye of Cabinet council of Ukraine from 16.07.2008 of No. 654 About increase of provision of pensions of citizens changed the extent of the monthly address help to pension for disabled people and participants of operations.
If the monthly amount of pension payments (taking into account extra charges, increases, additional pensions, the target monetary assistance, the sums of indexation and other surcharges to the pensions, established in the legislation, except pensions for special merits in front of Ukraine) doesn’t reach at disabled people of Igruppy of 1200 UAH., The II groups – 1080 UAH., IIIgruppy – 960 UAH., participants of operations – 840 UAH., to such persons pay the monthly state address help to pension (grant) in the sum lacking till the specified amount of payment.
Besides, since 01.09.08 the following extra charges and increases to pension are established in the new sizes:
Since October 1 of 2008 godazakony Ukraine About the Government budget of Ukraine for 2008 and about modification of some acts of Ukraine the subsistence minimum for invalid category of citizens which since October 01, 2008 will make 498,00 UAH is approved.
Also since October 01, 2008 cost of one year of an insurance experience from 1,2 % to 1,35 % is increased. It means that if till January 1, 2008 in 40 years of an experience 40 % of earnings for pension calculation were considered, since October 01, 2008 54 % of earnings will be considered.
The factor of an insurance experience which is applied to calculation of the size of pension, is determined by a formula:
Ks = (Cm x Vs) / (100 % x 12), where:
Cm – the sum of months of an insurance experience;
Vs – the size of an assessment of one year of an insurance experience defined according to the present Law (as a percentage) from 01.10.08 – 1,35 %.
For example, at an insurance experience of 25 years factor of an insurance experience = 0,3375
The amount of increases to pensions to the disabled veterans is changed, provided by the Law of Ukraine About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection About 01.10.08 amount of increases to pensions will make:
– to the disabled veteran of 1 group – 249,00 UAH. (498 x 50 %);
– to the disabled veteran of 2 groups – 199,20 UAH. (498 x 40 %);
- to the disabled veteran of 3 groups – 149,40 UAH. (498 x 30 %);
The extent of the state public assistance according to the Law of Ukraine About the state public assistance to persons which have no right to pension, and to disabled people is changed is defined proceeding and a subsistence minimum for persons who lost work capacity. Thus, the public assistance on leaving:
- to disabled people of 1 group of number of the military personnel and other persons by whom the disability pension is appointed according to the Law of Ukraine About provision of pensions of the persons dismissed from military service, and some other persons – since October 01, 2008 will be made by 249,00 UAH. (50 % from a subsistence minimum for persons who lost work capacity of 498,00 UAH.);
– to disabled people of 2 groups of number of the military personnel and other persons by whom the disability pension is appointed according to the Law of Ukraine About provision of pensions of the persons dismissed from military service, and some other persons which are lonely and according to the conclusion of the medical and consulting commission need permanent extraneous care – since October 01, 2008 sostavit124,50 UAH. (25 % from a subsistence minimum for persons who lost work capacity of 498,00 UAH.);
to disabled people of 3 groups of number of the military personnel and other persons by whom the disability pension is appointed according to the Law of Ukraine About provision of pensions of the persons dismissed from military service, and some other persons which are lonely and according to the conclusion of the medical and consulting commission need permanent extraneous care, to the persons belonging to disabled veterans according to Art. 7 of the Law of Ukraine About the status of veterans of war, a guarantee of their social protection and receive pensions on age, on disability or for long service, to disabled people of 1 group, disabled people of 2 and 3 groups who are lonely and according to the conclusion of the medical and consulting commission need permanent extraneous care – since October 01, 2008 sostavit74,70 UAH. (15 % from a subsistence minimum for persons who lost work capacity of 498,00 UAH.).
Also, since October 01 2008 godapovysheniye is established to children of war at a rate of 49,80 UAH. (10 % from a subsistence minimum for persons who lost work capacity of 498,00 UAH.)
We pay attention of pensioners that in the Pension fund it is not required to provide any additional documents. All pensions will be counted in an automatic mode, on the basis of the documents, being in pension affairs.
