The management of agroindustrial development of the Poltava regional state administration together with regional experts began development of the new anti-recessionary program which provides introduction next year in agrofarms of Poltava region of a wide network, a drop irrigation. The deputy head of OGA Vladimir Andriyenko reported about it. According to him, this complex system of an irrigation will help to save water and energy resources with double-threefold effect and it is thus essential to reduce prime cost of agricultural production grown up on its basis.
According to calculations of initiators of the new program, its introduction will be carried out step by step. At the beginning on Poltavshchin transform to a network of a drop irrigation pipelines of the old invalid systems, which else remain in the rural zone in a significant amount. It will give big economy of means. After a while will attach modern new irrigating networks. Till the end of the next year this economical method of watering (the plant, instead of the earth pours down) will capture the majority of the territory which specializes on vegetable growing, gardening, cultivation of bakhchevy, forage and some other hygrophilous crops.
Nowadays the drop irrigation is used on Poltavshchin in limited number of areas, generally on the land lots of little use for managing in total area of 351,5 hectares. From now on the relation to it will change also because during joint consultations of OGA of landowners in crisis conditions is decided to reorient a significant amount of agrofirms and farms on vegetable growing, gardening and truck farming.
