In conditions in which now there is an animal husbandry, the question of effective use of forages as their share in product cost occupies, as a rule, more than 70 percent more than ever became aggravated.
As results of work of branch of a svinovodstvo for 2008 testify, daily average additional weights in farms of five regions of the Crimea fluctuate from 176 to 250 grams. Such additional weights can’t provide this branch high profitability that finally leads to reduction of number of a livestock of pigs.
Svinovodstvo – is that branch where attempts to save on a diet of animals negatively are reflected in their additional weights and vital indicators. Therefore without the balanced diets and the correct technology of feeding it is impossible to reach high profitability of this branch.
Practically all regions of Ukraine, in particular the advanced farms of the Crimea, passed to feeding of pigs by compound feeds, and also widely apply BVMD (albuminous and vitamin and mineral additives).
Influence of the balanced diet on increase of daily average additional weights of pigs is given in the table.

Apparently from the table, without strict observance of technology of feeding
and the maintenance of animals further development of animal husbandry is impossible.
Therefore in each pig-breeding economy should chetkoznat that without application of compound feeds and BVMD it is impossible to make a svinovodstvo profitable.
