The ministry of an agrarian policy of Ukraine intends to continue issue of grants to landowners in 2008. The deputy minister of an agrarian policy Peter Verbitsky reported about it at a briefing.
According to P. Verbitsky, MINAP offers two options of support of agricultural industry.
In particular, if privileges on VAT payment by landowners are cancelled, Miyonisterstvo suggests to increase the support sum to 5-5,9 billion UAH. If the mechanism of charge of the VAT remains, that, according to experts of MINAP, the sum of support should make 1,7 billion UAH.
Also the deputy minister noted that, in his opinion, the best option of a podyoderzhka of agricultural producers is reduction of the cost of the credits, and also udeshevyoleny purchases of the equipment staticheskogo productions.
Besides, P. Verbitsky added that MINAP plans to enter a new type of support of purchase of a livestock of cows into a liyozing, on what is offered to allocate 1 billion UAH.
According to the deputy minister, it will be good incentive for increase pogolovya since purchase of cattle demands nemayoly financial investments. As an example the official gave cost of an odyony breeding calf which can make from 1,6-2 thousand euros.
P. Verbitsky also noted that today work on preparation of offers for government budget-2008 formation prodolzhaetsya.
