In the Crimea the complex of works on identification is carried out by branch of the state enterprise Agency on identification and registration of animals. As of December 1, 2006 the Crimea takes the fifth place in Ukraine on cattle identification, the first – on identification of sheep and goats, pigs and horses.
Since October 1, 2006 tariffs for services in cattle identification for legal entities make 18,00 UAH., for individuals – 21, 60 UAH. The overall cost of service in identification and registration of cattle makes 36 UAH. and 39, 6 UAH. respectively, other means are compensated by the state.
Difference of quotations is that cattle identification in legal farms carries out an economy independently, and in individual sector the agent for identification of animals.
Essentially assist and help to carry out quicker work in the republic the Ministry of an agrarian policy of the Crimea and management of agroindustrial development of areas, Management of veterinary medicine and its appropriate territorial bodies.
It is known that nation-wide identification and registration of animals is entered for the purpose of protection of the territory of Ukraine from epizootichesky diseases, control of a sanitary condition, quality and an origin of production of animal husbandry, moving of animals, optimization of introduction of plans of veterinary medicine, ensuring observance of requirements of breeding business, including an assessment of efficiency and breeding value, optimization, development and implementation of selection programs. Identification of animals is one of requirements to Ukraine for accession to WTO and EU.
Since July 1, 2006 the Ministry of an agrarian policy of Ukraine entered restrictions on moving (transportation), a face on meat of not identified and nezaregistirovany cattle and milk realization from it.
To each owner of a cow (both in a personal part-time farm, and on farms) it is necessary to have the relevant documents on cattle: the passport of cattle and a veterinary card to it. If the animal after inspection by the veterinarian is recognized healthy, a card will give out green color if there are any deviations – yellow.
Only under a condition when all animals will be brought in a uniform state database – the Register of animals and to be under continuous veterinary and sanitary control, it is possible to guarantee safety of production of animal husbandry and to warn infection of people.
Many people buy dairy and meat products of house production. But it is necessary to remember that this production can be received from uninspected animals. Not all know that leykozny milk even is more tasty, than milk from a healthy cow. Physicians consider that the use of such milk can provoke a cancer at the person. Therefore take care of itself and the family, demand upon purchase of cattle-breeding production from private sellers the passport and a veterinary card which confirms a healthy condition of animals.
