How to increase efficiency of vineyards

In article results of production pilot studies of preparations of the Intermag enterprise on culture of grapes are presented.

In modern conditions it is impossible to receive high-quality competitive production, passing or out of time carrying out at least one of agrotechnical requirements. Means of protection of plants, fertilizers for the soil and sheet top dressing give effect only when technological operations on soil preparation, ensuring a mineral food are sustained, terms and depth of crops are observed, temperature and weather conditions, quality of seeds etc. promote.

As to fertilizers, under many long-term plantings of the Crimea the organic weren’t brought many years, and from mineral – N, by R and were periodically used only To that leads to microelement starvation of garden cultures and grapes therefore all practices and investments of the agriculturist or the farmer are leveled.

Choosing from the wide range of the means intended for improvement of a food and increase of efficiency of crops, microcells containing various complexes, it is necessary to pay attention to Intermag enterprise preparations.

At the moment the firm offers system of complex top dressing of grapes with application xelatov to Fe and Mn and the liquid concentrated preparations of Intermag In and Intermag Mikrovit 2.

Helat Fe 8 contains iron of 8 % (80 g of Fe/kg), soluble in water;

Helat Mn 14 forte contains manganese of 14 % (140 g of Mn/kg), soluble in water;

Intermag pine forest contains pine forest in a legkousvaivayemy form – boroetanoloamin (In – 11 % of 150 g/l);

 Intermag Mikrovit 2 contains the polnokompleksny basis (N: R2O5: K2O = 10: 3: 5) and a set of microcells in legkousvaivayemy a plant (skhelatirovanny) form.

Thanks to the raised maintenance of N (in comparison with R and To) the preparation stimulates a plant to fast and effective absorption of microcells, and restoration of balance of nutritious microcomponents, in turn, allows to increase energy of growth and plant strengthening, to intensify photosynthesis and plodoobrazovaniye processes.

Helata Fe and Mn is expedient to use during the period from development 3-5 leaves and till length of escape of 30-35 cm. Intermag pine forest and Intermag Mikrovit 2 are recommended for application in intensive growth and development of long-term cultures, including grapes.

That fact is widely known that in growth and formation of berries the grape bush more than ever needs the strengthened food not only basic elements, but also microcells. So, at productivity of 100 c/hectares of berries the plant takes out from the soil to 130 g – pine forest, 21 g – copper, 230 g – manganese, 75 g – zinc and 1040 g/hectares – gland.

In 2007 on GP "Gardener" vineyards (a zone of Sevastopol) applied microfertilizer of Intermag Mikrovit 2. Processing carried out on a site occupied with grades to Aligota and Cabernet, the most injured from winter frosts of 2006. During the vegetative period of 2008 experiment continued and carried out already five sprayings, since fenofazy cultural development 3-5 leaves to fenofazy (tab. 1) "pea".

As a result productivity of a grade to Aligota in 2007 made 130 c/hectares in comparison from 113 c/hectares on a site without top dressing, and productivity of a grade of Cabernet after application Mikrovita 2 raised on 2,3 c/hectares. In 2008 after carrying out five processings productivity raised on 4-8 c/hectares respectively (tab. 2).

Considerably sugar content of berries raised also. Besides it is necessary to note improvement of the general condition of a grape bush: powerful gain, bright green sheet device, compactness of a cluster.

In 2007, considering that the price of 1 kg of grapes was 1,80 UAH., shaft cost from grade hectare to Aligota made 23400 UAH., and Cabernet grades – 4500 UAH. The profit received with 1 hectare in experience is higher, than on control on 2950 UAH. and 358 UAH. respectively.

In the prices of 2008 the net profit from application of microfertilizers made 7306,23 – 8496,23 úÓ¡./hectare in experience and 6825,66 – 7335,66 úÓ¡./hectare in a standard. On a site of application of microfertilizers of an expense paid off in 4,3 – 6,0 times, whereas in a standard in 4,5 – 4,9 times. The additional profit on a grade to Aligota made 480 úÓ¡./hectare, from Cabernet grade – 1160 úÓ¡./hectare (tab. 3 and 4).

Grapes intended for production of sparkling wine materials and were cleaned at achievement of sugar content of 17-18 %.


Extra root top dressing by microfertilizers of Intermag Ukraine improve synthesis of sugars from 8-16 % to 17-24 %, and formation of acids opposite decreases. All this promotes strengthening of stability of bushes to mushroom diseases.

For more full support of the grape plants weakened and testing microelement starvation, protection them from adverse conditions and pathogens the Intermag enterprise offered the scheme including 8 processings, most fully filling requirements of culture.

It is necessary to note and that fact that the microfertilizers offered by the Intermag enterprise well are combined with pesticides for protection of grapes against the main pathogens that doesn’t demand additional costs of their application.

As a whole results of production pilot studies showed not only high economic efficiency of application of these preparations, but also prospects of their use further for the purpose of improvement of a physiological condition of grape plants and to immunity strengthening. All these factors will make positive impact on wine growing development, as a basis of branch of agricultural industry of the Crimea.
